Very comfortable, neat and clean. The premises were well maintained and did not give you the city feel.
Upon our arrival from more than 5 hours on the road, we were kindly received. After dinner back at the room, no hot water for bath or shower! The guests were also very noisy until late at night. The next day a new geyser was to be put in, but when we returned after 6 in the evening there was still no hot water. The manager recommended that we look for alternative accommodation and promised that we would be "refunded", which now after a month and a half later and after several enquiries, has not happened. Extremely disappointing!

Elli made our stay so fabulous. She went above and beyond the call of duty. The service from everyone there made us feel at home. To combat loadshedding and cable theft, she got a generator and gas stove and we were well taken care of. Saturday was my birthday and she surprised me with a delicious birthday cake. I look forward to going back with more friends and family. They add the golden touch to everything at this gorgeous place.

The furniture, linen etc. is old and decrepit. It would be nice to at least have a bar of soap/shampoo in the bathroom. The guest house was probably very nice and popular at one point, but it definitely needs some renovation.
Aunt Ellie received us very kindly, the rooms were clean and tidy, cleaned every day. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again.
