Very quiet area where the guest house is and we felt very safe. Our car, which was loaded with valuables for my son's move to Stellenbosch, was safely behind a locked gate. The male person who received us was so friendly and helpful. A beautiful person.

We arrived at the venue when it was nearly dark, but the friendly Golf View guy met us in the parking area. He gave us two options, namely the room we booked or an upgrade to a bigger better room at the same price. This room was in a three-bedroom house with a fully fitted kitchen, lounge, fireplace and free Wi-Fi. I will definitely go back. It was clean, quality accommodation at an affordable price.
Showerhead needs some attention.
Exactly what we needed for our work trip. Unfortunately, the generator wasn't working, so there was no power during the load shedding. They do have load shedding bulbs in the bedside lamps so there is some light.

The inside parking is definitely a plus. The kettle was very busy and we couldn't really use it.

I incorrectly indicated the dates of my trip. The receptionist was very helpful and gave me a room without any problem. It was extremely helpful after a long day on the road. I got there after 5pm on a Sunday. The new room was neat and ready for any traveler.

We visited Laingsburg for work and stayed in self-catering unit 3, which is more spacious than many other self-catering accommodation in this price range. The place was clean and well equipped with, among other things, a stove and full size fridge and fast WiFi. We booked dinner which was waiting in the fridge when we arrived in the dark - a very large plate of good peasant food. We have no complaints except that the salad was bland without dressing and the person who made the sweet potato must have forgotten the sugar!

The accommodation was from Toeka's days but neat. Everything was comfortable in a quiet area and we were able to rest well for our drive on.
Golf View Guesthouse is well maintained and is clean, comfortable and tidy. It's also centrally located in the town without the N1 traffic being a problem. Jakob is the heart of the guest house, he is extremely friendly, helpful and in our opinion a jewel of a host, a great asset to the business. It's people like this that make you want to return again and again. The "dinner" was delicious and can be recommended.

Very large, clean, tidy accommodation, secure undercover parking for our motorbike. Good mattress, air conditioning wonderfully reassuring before we could hit the road the next day.

We stayed in a self-catering unit and it was well-equipped with the necessary kitchen appliances. A grid was provided when we wanted to braai and found it a pleasant homely place in a quiet safe area where you could sit under the trees and listen to the birds as you enjoy a sundowner. Air conditioning in the heat was of course a winner.
The place was clean and tidy, the receptionist was friendly and professional and his enthusiasm and personality were very good.
If you are a motorcyclist and like dirt roads, Laingsburg is a good place to stop.
Plekkie was nice, but difficult with kids under 2 years old. Nothing to keep them occupied.
