What a beautiful cottage! The gas heater was very handy. We found the place easily and there was even a bottle of champagne in the room for our wedding anniversary! Everything we needed was available.

The cottage is situated in a beautiful estate at the head of Knysna. It has a breathtaking view. The place is neat, fully equipped and perfect for 2 adults and a child. We would love to come here again and spend a little longer than just 1 night.

We had an incredibly nice stay. The cottage is made for vacation. This is something special. Small suggestions I would make is to at least have a carport next to the house that has a small fence that closes if you have dogs that like to sniff. Estate is quiet, peaceful, incredibly beautiful and there is walking space for you and your dog in the estate. Thank you very much Linda for the incredibly nice stay.

The unit is ideal for one or two people. Although it is directly next to the main house, privacy is not an issue whatsoever. The unit is 5 star luxury and the owners have made an effort to make good coffee and milk and yoghurt and muesli available themselves. Really great place to stay for a short visit.

Was contacted via WhatsApp and didn't have to get in touch with anyone once, perfect for Covid times. And generally for people who are just looking for super privacy. Everything you need in the house and an incredible amount of space to move furniture around to make sure it fits what you need. a very nice patio with an amazing view! Can't go wrong.

When I did the bookings, I really, really thoroughly looked at the places on the website. I knew immediately that Goose Cottage was going to be one of the highlights on our road trip! Well well well. It certainly lived up to all the expectations. The house was neat, clean, excellent layout and the view is awesome. The bathroom with the large shower was fantastic. Linda made us feel very welcome and told us how they built the place, to think the house was completely destroyed in the fire about 4 years ago. Goose Cottage is definitely a place I can recommend!
What a lovely little cottage overlooking the lagoon and such a variety of bird life. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and have recommended it to my friends. We will really enjoy another visit to this quaint little village. Close to Knysna city, but far enough from the noise and crowds.

Goose Cottage is situated on a hill with an exceptional view of Lake Knysna. It's an open plan that is very neat with the basics needed for an overnight or weekend stay. Nice for a couple or a family with 1 small child.

It is a wonderful place to relax, very clean and neat. Beautiful view and comfortable with everything you need. We ended up spending a lot of time there making food and just enjoying the surroundings.
Super friendly owners and the views are stunning. The bed was a bit small but the owners immediately said that they would attend to it. We could not complain about anything and recommend anyone to stay here. It is a bit remote but peaceful and short drives to restaurants are not a problem (although you could cook at home should you wish, we got the impression that this was not the done thing so opted to eat out).
Spacious accommodation in a lovely location with a wonderful view of the lagoon. With the gas stove and candles we were not bothered by load shedding. We would gladly have stayed longer.
