Elsa is the most amazing hostess. Nothing is too much trouble, and you feel right at home. The indoor braai area was great as it was raining during our stay. The river mouth fishing is within walking distance. Happy husband, happy life.

We had a wonderful stay at Elsa's place. The room was neat, clean, and had everything you could think of in a guest house. Our room also had its own en-suite bathroom with shower. The bed slept very well, and best of all: they have solar panels, while the whole area was without power for more than 30 hours! Elsa and Fred are very friendly and made us feel very welcome, and went the extra mile. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area! Thank you guys! We will definitely see you again!

Extremely small room, so called (kitchen facility) is fundamentally in a passage way, nowhere to sit inside. Terrible experience and totally overpriced.

It was simply beautiful, nice and clean and the hostess is very friendly. All you have to remember: if you arrive late on a Sunday, all eateries and shops are closed. Fortunately, Elsa warned us in advance and we were able to buy dinner on Mossel Bay.

Our accommodation in Gouritz was peaceful and very nice. There is a beautiful route to walk down to the beach and we enjoyed the natural surroundings a lot. There is a very small shop - we didn't realise that Gouritz was so small - so, I would recommend that anyone going to Gouritz plans their food well.
We slept over one night on the way from Mossel Bay to Agulhas. It is a beautiful guest house. Very clean and tidy rooms within walking distance from the mouth.
The room is comfortable for 2 people. It is safe and the basic necessities are available. The stoep is large and nice for braai. The bed is very comfortable and there is a large selection of DStv channels to choose from.

Check in was prompt with friendly and professional service from the host and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
We were very well received and the room was wonderfully fresh and clean. The bed has a good mattress and good linen and little things like a heater, coffee and tea were very welcome. The ad was just a bit confusing. Breakfast was not included, but upon inquiry it turned out they gave us a more expensive room, and there is no view. You have to be at the top to enjoy the view. People just have to pay attention, Gouritz is small and on a Sunday night there is no restaurant. However, breakfast can be enjoyed at a restaurant. Good value for money.

Very neat place with nice modern finishes. Friendly welcome with helpful information for Gourits. A short walk then there is the most beautiful wooden path to the river mouth.
The rooms are spotless, but a bit cramped - especially when it rains, there is only room in your room to sit. Breakfast is offered on another site, but it is good value for money and the people in Goritz are friendly, hospitable and very helpful.

The facilities were beautiful, neat and clean. The name is confusing however, because they don't offer breakfast. The is a bar and tiny supermarket which has a coffee shop that offers breakfast.
The lady is friendly. No question for breakfast - no offer. Too expensive for that room!
