We enjoyed every bit of our stay. We met Karl, who is a darling and helped us all the way. Thanks to the owner. The only thing is the network - some could get it, others none until you go out of the farm. Other than that, we enjoyed the quietness of the farm. Thanks to all that were involved in our stay. There were 10 adults and 6 kids in Regina, and we had a ball.

We paid for house Tarantaal which was advertised as a 6 person unit. That's not what you get. These are not houses or detached units, they are rooms. Huis Tarentaal sleeps 2 people and there is also a single bed, but it did not have bedding on it. Our other 2 people were in a separate unit from us. Then there is no braai place here as advertised, they did bring us a loose braai. Then they advertise their provided towels, which are also nowhere to be found. The unit was clean but there were a lot of spiders etc.
Perfect for weekend traveler. Everything you need.
The place to stay is perfect for someone doing the Garden Route and looking for a nice house for a group of families. Close to most places and very accessible. The lounge area is perfect for sitting and socializing in the evenings. There were details that bothered me, such as frozen fridges, a slightly dirty house (but you're on a farm so you understand) and taps that only pour hot water. Overall we had a nice stay, but our reservation was moved 2 times. 1 time due to of a double booking and 1 time due to construction taking place. Overall, the driver lacks finesse. The rules around the expectations (such as dishes must be washed on the last day) were never passed on. So just make sure twice about what is expected of you as a traveler.
Layout of unit not suitable for 6 adults. Toilet facilities may allow adults with their own children. First morning only enough hot water for two people to shower. Pillows for sleeping not sufficient. No hot water in the kitchen. Braai facilities not up to standard. Parking not clearly indicated. Google location not accurate.
It was dirty outside around the building with construction debris and full of leaves, long grass. Walls inside and outside full of vapor spots, paint shell off. Microwave oven dirty with old melted cheese in it. Bedbugs, all are bitten rotten by suspected bedbugs. We just had to spray doom. I can send pictures if you want to see. Definitely not what was in photos. Outside light at braai does not work.
With such a little extra detail, it can be a wonderful place to stay, especially for people who love the farm.
