What falls short with the normal amenities such as television, shops, etc. was made up with the friends we made with chats in the bar of Graafwater. Thank you Susette and Hanna, you made us feel very special and we really enjoyed it. Room very neat and clean. You will see us again.

All the staff are very friendly. They also went out of their way to fulfill a special request.

Unfortunately I cannot give a good review based on my experience. And it was mainly due to the hotel not answering their phones. I phoned earlier in the day to find out about supper and had no answer, on arrival the front door was locked, I rang the bell and nobody came to answer. I then dialed the landline number again and the phone rang in the bar behind a security gate, but again nobody in sight. In the end I had to walk around to the back of the hotel and then had someone showing me to the room. I got the feeling I was not expected, the fridge was not switched on which is inconvenient when trying keep thing cold. It's just small things but it matters. The room was clean though and if you just need a place to sleep and expect nothing else then it will suffice I suppose.

We were 2 couples who stayed there during our flower tour. The hotel is very old. Since it is still considered the Cape winter one would have expected something like a heater in the room. As the rooms were not serviced, we had to wash the coffee mugs in the sink of our bathroom to use again the next morning.

We had a great adventure staying here - most kind people, very interesting guests in the hotel and superb hospitality by Suzette and her team! If you are into luxury and splendour, this is not for you! The rooms were spotless, clean and comfortable! Real old-fashioned "1950's country style" stuff - do go hiking in the areas around Graafwater - stunning! We will be back, with friends!
The Hotel met our expectations of using it as an overnight base. Suzette very peaceful and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The drinks at the bar are also cheaper than I expected.
Enjoyed the overnight stay, owners very friendly and the rooms more than expected very tidy. Hotel very old but owners busy making it nice.

We loved our accommodation.
It was a pleasant experience in a peaceful place. Friendly people. I can recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet.
The room was neat, but there is no security. The vehicles are parked behind the hotel but there are no gates. It is accessible to anyone. On the last day, we had to carry our things out in the hotel's hallway amidst dog droppings. Doesn't seem to have bothered the people when we reported it. Had to drive 30 km to Lambertsbaai to get food.
