The host/caretaker Dave was very welcoming and polite. He gave us space and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures on the website don't do justice to the beauty of the views the venue offers.
Dave went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. It's a wonderful, quiet farm with a lovely view from the porch. It's a large, comfortable unit. Everything is nice and clean and Pretty did our laundry and looked after us nicely. Everything was good!
Very well located and affordable accommodation in the Drakensberg. Privacy, excellent views and close to many attractions.
Rest for any man's soul. Staying here was totally worth it. Beautiful view and surroundings and the house we stayed in was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

Nice playground for children. Love the dogs, Lucky and Fleckie. Some security gates don't work at all. Kitchen and bathrooms could be updated. Otherwise we had a great sleep.
Minimal maintenance required. Covid sure bites like everywhere!
Master bedroom's bed was full of black hair between sheets. Other upper rooms bed very hollow. Think the pictures are misleading.
Excellent location with beautiful views, and very well-equipped. Not modern, but that suited us. Excellent value.
I would like to give positive criticism to the owners by letting them know that the appliances such as stove and fridge didn't work 100%. Certain things were a little dirty and needs to be cleaned and updated a bit such as bathrooms shower heads and bathrooms by the pool. Pool is amazing but the bathrooms and facilities such as table tennis is old and broken. Other than those small things the place is amazing and has great views.
We enjoyed the facilities, such as the pool. The area is very beautiful and scenic. There are a lot of places to visit in the area. The cottage we stayed in needs an upgrade, the facilities are older than the pictures online. The beds need to be replaced, the beds feel a bit lumpy and may be broken. There were bedbugs (a severe infestation) in the room with a view, the one to the right of the dining room. My sister and her husband were eaten alive and had to move to the kiddies room which was uncomfortable as it had single beds and we had to walk through it to get to our room. So it ruined our trip at the end, especially because they came over from the UK and this was a treat to take them away. Joyce, the cleaner was lovely and very friendly, she does a good job cleaning. We did not find the place unclean at all, it was the bedbugs that were a problem.
Lots to do in the area.
Peaceful quiet place with the most beautiful view! The place is big, very neat and clean. It's wonderful to stay there and we have already booked our next stay there. Hermien received us kindly and we had a lovely chat - it feels like we've known each other for years! It feels like home away from home. Can definitely highly recommend it.
Graceland undoubtedly has the best views in the entire Drakensberg area! We loved sitting outside to enjoy the surrounding mountains, and found the house itself very comfortable, as the rooms are generously proportioned (especially the main bedroom) and well-equipped with everything we needed. It is well situated to visit the various attractions and we enjoyed the nearby Raptor experience and a performance of the Drakensberg Boys Choir.
