There is easy access to a variety of hiking trails. Absolutely stunning! We will definitely visit Grace again, she is a wonderful hostess.
One of our most enjoyable stays. Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable bed and Grace, owner, incredibly hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the rusk was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Every aspect of our stay at Gracie's Cottage was top notch! The accommodation is ideal for the couple who want to be away from the noise, but still close enough to walk to the business part. It's also an ideal place to stay for grandparents if the children and grandchildren might rent a bigger place to stay elsewhere in Clarens. Grace received us warmly and spoiled us with her freshly baked rusks. The living unit is elegant, tasteful, spotlessly clean, with everything one needs during such a stay. We would love to come again!

We loved our stay at Gracie's Cottage. The venue is in a quiet area of Clarens, but a quick walk into town and also great for great walks in the countryside. Grace is a wonderful host. We had small dogs with us and although the property is fenced, she made it safer for our escape artists. Will definitely go back there when travelling just 2 people.
One of the best guesthouses in the country we have stayed at. Fully equipped. Efforts have been made to accommodate guests as comfortably as possible.
Already packed wood in fireplace, coffee, sugar, and even some emergency supplies like Eno, Rennies, etc. Also, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom - not things you would expect from a self-catering place. Top marks for making you feel welcome.

Below freezing temperatures were offset with warm hospitality. Grace did everything possible to make our few days in Clarens as comfortable as possible. Gracie's Cottage is neat, spacious, warm and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay! Peaceful, comfortable, and everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing weekend away. The host is fantastic, and the complimentary rusks are delicious. We don't have pets, but they are welcome at the accommodation too.
We were very kindly received by Grace. The accommodation was more than we expected. Cold front clearly passing through Clarens. We slept nice and warm with electric blankets and a carpet in the living room that was heated under our feet. It was cozily warm and we literally had everything one would need at their own place to stay. Will definitely recommend. Will stay there again.

Gracie's Cottage is a must if you want to have a nice and safe visit with your spouse. It is close to all the hiking trails for safe and easy walking. We visited with our 2 Boston Terriers and couldn't have asked for a better place to sleep with all the doors open. It is tidy and has everything you need and more! Grilling, cooking, it doesn't matter! Als is there for a nice visit. And what a beautiful home! It was like a fairy tale and so nice and quiet in the upper town, away from the hustle and bustle. You wake up there as a new person and simply forget about the hustle and bustle of the city! Silence and only the sounds in the morning to entertain you. 2 nights is definitely too little, you always want to stay longer and please do so. if you can! We have stayed in Clarens many times, but Gracie's Cottage will surely see us again soon! And Grace, you are a better and more wonderful person than the presentations could prepare us for! You arrive there as a traveler, and drive away feeling like family! Well done! You can't find your place and your care anywhere else! Just what we City people need for a getaway!

On arrival at the accommodation we were kindly greeted by Grace. I will always recommend her and it is now our favorite place to go in Clarens. This is not the first time I have stayed here. Although I was very satisfied during my previous stay, the owner put so much effort into upgrading the internet, electricity and water. It is an absolute pleasure to stay there. It is a quiet, safe environment and a very well equipped unit.
