This is a contractor accommodation.
Our stay at Grand Central guest house was very comfortable, with clean linen, and overall, kept quite tidy. The air-conditioning worked fine. The host went out of her way, to make our stay, as comfy as possible, ensuring our vehicle was safe and we were even asked what type of breakfast we eat and what we don't eat. I would highly recommend Grand Central guest house to others.
Not too neat outside building. Also not inside. Wire of bedside light too short. Don't come to bedside table. No hairdryer. Just enough for overnight. Will not stay there weekend.

Would recommend for overnight stays only. No hot water in the evening and lukewarm water the next morning. Maybe I didn't understand the fridge, but it didn't get cold. Was in room closest to gate and people were still driving in and out until about 02:30 in the morning. Breakfast was generous, but it was chaotic in the dining room as everyone had to shuffle over and get coffee - extremely cramped. Air conditioning in the room a bonus. Staff could be much more professional.

No air conditioning in rooms, rooms incredibly hot and stuffy. Very precocious young girl helped with breakfast the next morning. Guests are simply called "you and you". Breakfast leaves much to be desired. No proper fruit juices. And I don't eat fried polony! I wasn't even asked what I preferred as a guest either - just scooped up and carried and assumed everyone was eating fried polony and scrambled eggs. Slices of bread just pasted down in front of you. No question whether it should be white or brown or whether it should be plain or toasted bread. Has potential, but some big improvements need to happen in terms of service, food, etc. first.
No plug for TV. Bathroom door's clip didn't work. Towels and cups for two guests only, although we booked for three. Other guests party until 03:00 in the morning and make a lot of noise. Breakfast was worse than terrible and the dining room was dirty.
There was nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the place, but there were three of us. Me, my husband and our little boy. But the room had 4 single beds with a shower and no fridge. That's not what I asked for. Other than that, nothing was wrong.
It has a homely feel to it. The manager is extremely friendly. I would definitely go back there again.
Clean and tidy, friendly staff!
The first room we were in was a matchbox. It was hot and had no airconditioning. The soap dish was dirty. There was no handwash or soap until we asked for some. After requesting for a change of room, we were quite comfortable. We wondered why we had not been given the second room in the first place.
We had a lovely stay at Grand Central. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was very neat and tidy. Everything was lovely. One thing to approve on is the security gate that is very noisy and disturbing at night.
All rooms should have windows for health reasons, the first room we were booked in there were NO windows and it smelled of paint. We requested to be moved and were moved into a 3 sleeper whilst we booked for 4 sleepers.
The rooms were neat and clean, and the staff very friendly, but the photos on the website and the reality are not the same at all!
