Very nice and safe area. Room is clean and the view was to die for. The hosts are the best ever. They woke up on a very chilly Sunday morning with no complaints at all. When they assisted with our car that suddenly wouldn't start, the best part was the husband calling their AA to come and assist us at no extra charge, not even 1 cent. That took the cup for me.

Our stay at Grandview Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! The place was impeccably clean and tidy. The hostess immediately made us feel at home, and we were welcomed with freshly baked biscuits. The highlight of the visit was the breathtaking view of Table Mountain and the lights of the peninsula at night.

I didn't enjoy my stay at all. I received the rules of the place the evening before booking in via email. We had a curfew we needed to be home. Also, you can only use the pool at certain times. It was my birthday weekend away, and I had a curfew. It felt like I was in my mother's house. Upon arrival, only then I found out you can only use the pool at certain times because it's being closed at a certain time.

In the past, we've run into ugly mistakes with online bookings for accommodation, but at Grandview Guesthouse you get exactly what you see in the photos. The view is not photoshopped! Don't even think twice - just book! Annamie is a brilliant hostess - friendly, helpful, and just down to earth, good person. It was so nice for us to stay in her guest house. It was worth every penny. Grandview will hopefully see me again soon!

Very nice view of Cape Town. All shops within 10 min from guest house. Is 15 min from Bloubergstrand and 25 min from the city centre. Annemie and Mias are very capable hosts and helped with any inquiries and requests. Would recommend the guest house anytime to anyone who wants to visit the Cape for a weekend, a day or even like us for more than a week.

We were warmly welcomed, a beautiful place, with a wonderful view all day, especially of table mountain. The guest house is close to Cape Town, Blouberg, the wine routes. The hostess is also very helpful and helps with various activities in and around Cape Town. Would definitely recommend the guest house, for a wonderful relaxing time in the Cape.

Our unit was luxurious, quiet and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. The view of Table Mountain and Robben Island is spectacular and provides a really relaxing atmosphere. The guest house is also very close to the places we wanted to visit, e.g. Durbanville Wine Route, Blouberg Beach and easy access to N1 for V&A Waterfront. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we come to the Cape.
