It was a good stay. Everything was in the right place, although there was no tea and sugar. But we enjoyed everything.

Not pleasant. Indifferent reception on arrival. Very basic accommodation. No tea, coffee, etc. Bed needs a new mattress. Extractor fan in the bathroom is very noisy. One hand towel and one bath towel available for two people.
It was terrible. The experience was very bad. Their service was not up to standards.
Very friendly, good food at reasonable prices, bar and restaurant, and outside seating great.
Accommodation was neat and clean. Good service and was very hospitable. But if you're looking for peace of mind, this won't work for long. Friday night was loud music until the morning hours with people making noise and Saturday all day loud music and people shouting and making noise.
2 hot water sink taps leaking, lounge tube lights not working, lamp power plug loose and dangerous, cutlery was not up to standard, had to borrow from dining hall. Carpets can be vacuumed. Courtyard was full of leaves and showing poorly. With a little attention to bugs etc it would be good value for money. Hospitality from owner was very very good!
Very nice family run place with beautiful fauna and flora. Was welcomed friendly, only 1 problem is the coffee station which is too small and to pour water into the kettle.
Will definitely stay there again.
Shower drain was a bit clogged and leaking water, but apart from that which was the only fault, we had a very nice stay. Received very good service and friendly people!
Just not what one would expect from the name. Woken early by taxis picking up patrons for work. Bathroom so small one couldn't move. Extractor fan when light in toilet was turned on was so noisy it was preferable to bath in the dark. They would do better to have shower or bath in that small space - not both. It was clean and there was a fridge to keep things cool.
We were welcomed warmly, and the the owners assisted with our unexpected car trouble. We stayed an extra evening. Lovely farm setting, beautiful garden. Will definitely visit again.
Although not ideal for self-catering, there are enough amenities to get by. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Maintenance on the rooms is excellent and the garden beautiful. The peaceful farm atmosphere contributed to a very relaxing long weekend. If we are in the area again we will not hesitate to stay here again.
They were very accommodating with our late arrival and leaving early, but they forgot to put the geyser on so we had no hot water. Quite unpleasant if you want to shower at 4am in the morning and there is only cold water.
The guest house lies on the right next to a main road and although there is a large gate it is not closed or locked at night. There is a microwave, a kettle and coffee cups, 1 teaspoon and glasses. There was only 1 tea bag put out without any milk or sugar and no other utensils. On our second night we arrived at our accommodation at 11am and there was no toilet paper in the unit. I don't expect a luxurious place to stay for the money we paid, but at least the small aspects of a more comfortable stay can receive more attention.
The service is great and helped us out with another place to sleep for two more nights.

Thank you to the staff who were helpful in providing us with a braai that we could use at the Majubafees. There was also immediate help with accommodation on the Saturday evening for one of the festival attendees.
Granny Goose's staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with an extra bed. Unfortunately, our unit's geyser was out of order. They did give us access to another room to shower. This room was a "smoking room" and did not smell good.
We got some great rest in a comfy room that even had electric blankets on the bed. Beautiful little place with a lovely farm vibe.
Fantastic stay even though it was for business purposes.
Our stay at Granny Goose was peaceful and quiet with friendly staff and hospitality.
The place was good, we would like to come again next year same room.
