We had a nice stay and ate well every morning. The Easter eggs were a nice surprise for our 12 year old.
Had a great stay yes. Breakfast was of a high quality and more than enough. The WiFi reception was a bit bad inside the room we were in. Inquired about it but nothing was done. Outside the room, the reception was excellent. Nothing else bothered us. Feel free to go and experience it yourself, value for money.
From our arrival until we checked out, everything went smoothly. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities as listed on the website. The breakfast was top notch! We would recommend the accommodation anytime.

It was definitely a top quality stay. During our arrival we received excellent help with the unloading of luggage and the introduction of the accommodation. The room and facility were very neat and excellently prepared. We felt at home from the first moment. The information about attractions and places to visit was also very welcome as it was a strange area for us as first time visitors to the area. The location of the accommodation is very central and outside the business area. The view is remarkable.
Had a wonderful stay, had a room with a beautiful view. The maintenance is flawless, everything works. Nice breakfast, the host and hostess were very helpful and looked after us.
It was a very nice room, room 4 where we were had a very nice sea view. Everything you need, it's perfect for a weekend away and very close to Mossel Bay and everywhere you want to be. Definitely recommend it.
Fantasmagories.
The accommodation was convenient and comfortable. Couldn't sleep well, had birds on the roof that were busy all night.

The bath in room 1 is far too small for an adult.
Lumpy pillows, old linen. . Cold bare tiles. Plug almost pulls out when you use it, just one example of poor quality workmanship. Breakfast was 90% unhealthy, with processed and sugary foods. How about some wholewheat bread, real cheese, homemade or locally made jam? Plain yoghurt?
Unfortunately, the backpacker room was not the same room as shown in the photos. We were 3 people and the room was quite cramped. We struggled terribly with the gas geyser in the en-suite bathroom after which the hostess offered us the spare bathroom. Unfortunately, the bathroom is down the hall and can sometimes create a negative image if there are other guests in the house as well. The room/bathroom is also not very practical - no shelf in the shower, no hooks/"rails" to hang the towels on, no hand towel provided. Bath towels did not smell pleasant and had stains on them. One of the towels was also badly torn on the side. The room was thoroughly cleaned and sherry was provided in the room, which was a nice thought.
It was like being at home, away from home. The owners made you feel at home and the service was great.
Beautiful place, close to the beaches and shopping centre. My next visit will only be at Gran's Nest. I love the warm welcome from the owners.
