We booked for someone else there. All that is bad is that LekkeRslaap shows that if you want to book breakfast, you can do it at an additional cost. We were at the guest house to book breakfast when they told us they don't do breakfast for extra. It should then be removed from the discussions to avoid confusion and is a misperspective.

Lovely hot shower, air conditioning, light washing provided should there be loadshedding. We just wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a weekend. I don't regret one moment. It's so peaceful with the most beautiful garden and your own braai area. We were warmly received and soon felt at home.
The only issue is that the tub/shower combo doesn't work. When the shower is used above the bath, it floods the entire area with water.
Staff and owners are very helpful.
Other reviewers mentioned the WiFi as being weak, that is being kind. If anything will prevent me from using this venue again, it is the virtual absence of WiFi.
The garden was very neat. The place we stayed in was comfortable and clean. However, attention can be paid to the following: dog excrement that lay on the grass where we had to walk for two days. The ceiling that has a hole in it. The one shower door that has trouble opening and closing. Ice trays in the fridge can help.

We were only there for a few hours for the Om die Dam marathon. The location is excellent for our purposes, but we already left very early on Saturday morning. As we were self-sufficient for breakfast we requested a toaster on arrival. It was provided immediately. Thank you very much. See you next year.

There were only a few things that bothered, toilets were not very clean, and there was no sugar for the coffee. Otherwise everything was fine.
Television did not work for 2 days. One chair for two people? Water must be fetched from the tap outside. Not enough water in the fridge. No WiFi. Expect a little more for price. Even clothes could not be ironed properly.

The location and accommodation were very comfortable. Personally I don't like colorful bedding, that was the only problem because the room appears very dark. And I'm not a fan of the shower in the bath either. But for the price it was worth it because everything was nice and clean. Maybe put a bench in the room to put the bags on.

Really enjoyed the evening. Was quiet and the service was good. Just didn't know about the insecticide in the drawer. We were awake because mosquitoes until 1.30am Saturday morning, but lots of fun. More of an adventure than just a day break. Will definitely go back again next time we will know where to get what. I might make a suggestion that a booklet be put together with all the takeaways' phone numbers to make meals a little easier for the evening, especially if you don't know the town.

Grasdak guesthouse is a quiet beautiful traditional place. I needed I quiet place for a weekend and Grasdak was the right place to go. They have a very beautiful neat garden a lapa and a small braai place. We had load shading twice but the manager provided us with some lights. I remember I was out when I came back it was dark but he put a light at my door step, that's one of the good services. It is so close to shopping centres.
They made sure we were happy and spoiled us with a lovely treat for a special occasion. Railway a little noisy but very nice. Breakfast is a must.
