We just overnighted and managed to arrive when there was still snow on the ground. We enjoyed sitting at the bar, warming ourselves by the fire and loving on the bar cat that came for dinner. We didn't get to meet the donkey but will go back. Our room was simple but we had electric blankets to combat the icy cold and that was a huge perk!
Had a wonderful stay. Food was excellent. Beautiful garden. Friendly service. No one told us there was WiFi and also no writing in the room.

Beautiful place, welcome and very helpful. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable, tidy and compliant with everything.
