Deon and Annalene went out of their way to make our family of 3 and a grandmother feel very welcome. We were able to relax wonderfully in the beautiful garden and the rooms were comfortably furnished with good beds and linen. The space and the beautiful nursery/tea garden adjacent had been a wonderful retreat.

Everything was neat and well furnished. Everything you need is there. Friendly reception with the most beautiful roses in the room. Air conditioner and plugs for all your chargers and hot tongs! Bathroom, room, kitchen are laid out and equipped with great care. TV and couches, lots of space. Would definitely recommend! Thank you very much the most pleasant sleep-in experience!

Loadshedding is a problem, I know, if the guesthouse can get a generator because we could not even bath in the morning due to loadshedding, otherwise everything was great!

I was welcomed by a very friendly Joyce. She was thoughtful and helpful, as were the owners. The proximity of the restaurant was good. Made having a meal easy. Food was lovely. Accommodation was comfortable and clean, providing everything I needed.

Green Olive Guesthouse was lovely to stay. Everything was neat, nice clean and nice coffee tea and biscuits in the room. We originally booked the Wood cabin, but after the owner contacted us that there was a couple getting married there and wanted to sleep in the cabin, she asked if we wanted to move to the Beach Cottage. It was no problem and we were then booked for the beach cottage. Unfortunately when we arrived, the groom and groomsmen were setting up in the beach cottage. We had a wedding to go to and we had to wait half an hour to get into the venue. We only had an hour to get ready and drive to the other venue. So it was a bit unpleasant to wait and it stressed us out a bit. The one lady took the wine glasses and beer bottles from the wedding party out of the room and left them on the table outside the beach cottage, which was not so nice. But at least she quickly cleaned the place and brought us clean towels. But at least we had a nice stay and felt safe. The bedding was soft and we then went to get breakfast at the nursery which was very nice and convenient that it was so close, because we had to drive far.

We stayed one night in the "Beach House". Very well laid out with a porch - surrounded by a lovely garden. Love the crisp white linen and towels. No extra charge for washing linen because we only stayed one night. Last weekend and night in Valhalla in a guest house that charged an additional R200 because we only slept one night. Only downside is the noise from the Zambesi traffic and early churchgoers. Will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed it and we were able to sleep a little later, so in nature. Friendly reception and nearby delicious Green Olive restaurant for a delicious breakfast. We would go back and stay there again anytime.

It was nice to also just eat at the nursery, buy gifts and luck struck us with entertainment that one evening. Even though we didn't have power due to the storms, we will definitely visit again!
