Everything was just as advertised. Friendly reception. Parking just a bit awkward/limited.
All the rooms' doors open onto 1 courtyard. No privacy. People smoke in the courtyard and you can smell it in the room. Guests make noise until 12 o'clock at night. The bath is for children 12 and under, no one older will fit. No DStv or Netflix, only TV 1, 2, 3 and e.tv. We stayed a week so it was a frustration.

We were very pleased with our accommodation at Green Pastures. The location in George is ideally close to the town centre, yet in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Schalk made sure we had everything we needed. I can highly recommend this accommodation option.
Was only there for one night, for work and couldn't really do much, but the place is very cute.
My stay at Green Pastures guest house was very pleasant. The owner was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The room was neat and clean - what helped a lot was the small fridge in the room. I will definitely use the guest house again and recommend this accommodation because I think it is value for money as well as extremely safe.

Lovely place. We stayed in unit 5. It might be good if there could be just a lace curtain in front of the window, because it's at the parking area, so everyone looks into the place at what passes by. A cloth to dry cups and glasses with will help if you stay more than 1 night. Hostess was very friendly.
Clean, secure, quiet, and very convenient. It's not self-catering, but there is a bar fridge in the room, as well as a kettle with tea and coffee supplies (although milk rather than coffee creamer would have been nice).

We were disappointed with the size of the sleeper couch. It is not big enough for 2 children. It cannot be advertised as a 4 sleeper with that sized sleeper couch. Our daughter slept with us in the bed which was not ideal.
Very nice welcome and the place is really neat and clean. Safe location but traffic on the way into town is a bit of a problem, lots of traffic. The beds and duvets sleep very well. I will definitely visit there again, it's not too far from the shops and restaurants.

The guest house has secure parking, is in a safe area and close to shopping centers and highways. We simply stayed there an extra day. There is WiFi and a light available even during loadshedding. Thank you for the hospitality.

I would like to recommend putting a microwave in the room, we couldn't heat anything and because it was so cold we missed it. Also could not use the braai because the weather and therefore it would have helped if there was a microwave. There was also no cutlery, no place where we could wash the coffee cups/glasses, they had to be washed in the bathroom sink. It was a cold and wet week, stayed 5 days and the room was fully tiled which made it bitterly cold in the room and the heater that was there was broken, then only catering for guests with maybe ' A 9-fin heater and even a mat or 2.

Only 1 towel per person for a two night stay with 2 persons and no place to dry wet towels or anything else wet, like coats. Only 1 chair in the room to sit on or to put your clothes on at night, no hangers in the cupboard. Television did not work.

The host welcomed us promptly on arrival and ensured we were taken to our room. Their house rules and regulations were clearly explained and visible. Overall, the guest house was beautiful, clean and very flexible in the sense we could come and go as we pleased with easy access to the main gate. Would definitely recommend Green pastures for the welcoming and excellent service they provided.
