We were received very kindly. The facilities are very good, the room and bathroom are spacious, everything was beautifully clean and the kitchen is conveniently equipped with all the basic necessities for a small family for a one night stay. The neat locked covered parking was a pleasant surprise!
We always enjoy staying at Greenwoods. We were a family of 6 staying there. After the children finished running a bath, there was no hot water for a shower for me and my husband. Only in the morning was there again sufficient hot water for a shower. They should please take into account if large families stay there that there must be enough hot water.

The garden is a loop court of lush tropical and subtropical plants; the environment is quiet and peaceful. The detached unit where we stayed is spacious and comfortable and well equipped with everything needed in a self-catering unit. The biggest obstacle (for us) was the load shedding problem which is however beyond the control of the owner. Fortunately, there are solar panels that ensure that there was enough hot water at all times and that there was light in the off-times.
We had a nice stay, it was clean and tidy, with friendly staff and beautiful gardens.
You better specify that there are rooms with stairs. Our old people can no longer climb such stairs. Fortunately, one of the guests was willing to trade with us.
Greenwood is perfectly positioned for anyone going to a function at the Menlyn arena and not wanting to travel home late at night. Only 2 km away and we will be back the next time we are in the area.
They might just mention that there are stairs in the rooms. It's not a king size bed either, it's just a double bed.

Also sleeping at the top and the bathrooms at the bottom, a very big challenge.
The owner/manager must maybe only his reception learns what the numbers are. The lady was already asleep, she doesn't understand very well and didn't know that we were sleeping in Swaeltjie. Other guests had to let us into the premises, no one answers the phone. We spent about 45 min. struggling just to get in. Otherwise all good.
We would also recommend mops and brooms to be placed in each room for in case there's some spillage of water or liquid. The overall rate 5/5, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the nature of that environment. Thank you for hosting us, we will definitely come again.

We slept very well there with you, the bed is really very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is nice and big and very comfortable. The reception was good and it was nice to be served in our own language. I would like to go home again anytime as soon as I travel in that direction and need accommodation. We only stayed over one night, but it is definitely a place we will book should we ever stay over for a longer time. It is peaceful, quiet, the accommodation is very well equipped and easy to access. The safe parking is great, there was space for our trailer in the garage too, but unfortunately our bakkie canopy was too high to fit in! But it was still safe parked outside the garage.

The facilities correspond to what is described on the website and the reception was wonderful. Very accessible and conveniently close to shopping centers.
It seems that the geyser was only activated when we landed there. It took about 4 hours before it was warm enough. The bath contrasts badly with the rest of the accommodation. The bath is installed crookedly, tiles and finish are pathetic.
The biggest obstacle was the bathroom light and the fan in the bathroom that comes on every time you open the door. The bathroom is on the right next to the single bed. If you get up 1 or 2 times a night and go to the bathroom and open the door, the door shines on you and the fan roars.
Our mattress and bed are out of date, please replace them, two people cannot sleep on them. The bathroom that is downstairs by the kitchenette is not convenient, especially at night because it is not close to your bedroom.

Additional to the chalets there is a cottage that sleeps 3 with a kitchenette and a luxurious guest room that sleeps 2. A battery system keeps the lights on during loadshedding.
