The fully equipped cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 en-suite bathrooms, and a kitchen and living area. The first bedroom contains an extra-length queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. This room has access directly onto the back patio through wooden doors. The second and third bedrooms each contain a double bed. The second bathroom contains a bath and a shower. The third bathroom contains a bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare family meals including an oven and a hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble-dryer. The cosy lounge contains a smart flat-screen TV with Netflix and a wood-burning fireplace. The back patio is wide and ideal for lunches and afternoon reads. Parking for 4 cars is provided.
Fleece blankets, hot water bottles, and heating panels for those cold winter nights are provided.
3 Battery lights and paraffin lamps are also provided. In the winter one bag of firewood is provided to get you started. The Wi-Fi has a UPS battery to keep guests connected during outages. One Cadac 3kg gas cylinder hob to help boil water during the load shedding.

Highly recommend this gem. Everything was neat, clean and so well equipped for our stay.
We had a wonderful stay in GreyCot. The house is spacious and very well equipped. The garden is private and the setting is peaceful and rural, even though it is in town.
The cottage is within walking distance of the market and nature reserve. The kitchen is well-equipped. The garden is peaceful, and we enjoyed catching the afternoon sun on the patio. The fireplace warms the cottage with generous wood supplied. Natty is a very attentive host.

We had an amazing and peaceful time at the cottage. The cottage is very homely. Loved the fireplace inside and the bedding that smelled so fresh and clean. Bath sheets instead of bath towels are always a winner. The cottage is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, and all the various utensils. The backyard is lush, leafy, and tranquil. Extremely friendly and efficient service from the manager and the lady who cleans.
Fantastic few days at GreyCot. Beautiful, comfortable house. Each bedroom with its own bathroom, excellently equipped kitchen, nice and tidy garden. Hostess was great too, we felt very welcome. Ideal location, quiet part of town but close to everything, hear the wind through the trees at night, lots of old trees in the garden.
Loved the homely feel and big garden. The only constructive criticism we could give would be to put hooks on the walls in the bedrooms and bathrooms. A proper braai would also be great! Would love to stay again in the summer.

Very nice stay. Could have been a bit cleaner. You could see in corners that carpets hadn't been vacuumed thoroughly, but it wasn't too bad. Other than that, everything was very pleasant. An outdoor braai area larger than a dish braai would have been pleasant. It would also have been even more beautiful if the garden had been trimmed a little better. It's not a big problem - it will just be nicer, and it's nice to stay in a nice place. The master bedroom's ceiling fan and light did not work.

Darkness from Friday to Sunday is not GeyCots fault. Plenty of lights and a single gas cylinder. A small suggestion would be a gas hob perhaps.
We had an absolutely amazing weekend as a family at Greycot. It was the perfect venue to get away from city life and tech and reconnect. The house was spotless, each room had its own bathroom and the facility had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the patio and the tranquil garden. Highly recommended!
Good value for money. There is a dishwasher, 3 en-suite bathrooms, all very tidy. The landlord is very nice and has lots of info. sent some fun things you can do in town over the weekend. There is a small inverter for the WiFi, and lots of emergency lights and candles that you can use. Beautiful garden.
We had a great stay at GreyCot. The garden is enormous and beautiful. House is fully equipped. WiFi is not great and of course, doesn’t work during load shedding.

Greycot had everything and more that was needed. The cottage was quite spacious and very neat and has character. Everything in walking distance and no need to use your car.

Had a lovely weekend at Greycot, a beautiful quiet part of town close to the mountains with beautiful hiking. The place was warm and clean. Natasha was a friendly host.
Great place for a family or a few friends to gather. The house is well-equipped. We came in winter and there was snow on the mountains, but we stayed warm inside with the log-burning stove for day and electric blankets for the night. Greycot is on the main road but at the quieter end and close to the nature reserve. The garden was a lovely place to sit in too for drinks (and probably even nicer in summer). Two things to note: for families, all beds are double, so although it sleeps six there are only three separate beds - we didn't mind as we knew this in advance. Cellphone reception was very poor (MTN), especially considering one is in town. It was hopeless in the house for any internet and even struggled to make a phone call when it was time to leave.
