24 guests' feedbackVery good location for people who want to visit the Namaqualand. We stayed there after doing the coastal section of the Namakwa Park.
I must draw attention to the incorrect directions that were sent to me. The directions led me to the wrong farm. Luckily the farmer explained the directions, but also mentioned that a few people had got lost. Please get the correct directions from the owners.
This accommodation is fairly remote but has all that you need for your stay. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive and find there was some electricity, after expecting there to be no power. The gentleman who assisted was very friendly and helpful and the location close to the Groenriviersmond and Namaqua National Park was fantastic.
We conveniently stayed here before starting the coastal route back to the Olifants River the next day. The host was very friendly and there was nothing we lacked.

We had a very nice stay. Our host received us very kindly. The house was very neat and clean. It would only be nice if there was a shower, but I know that's not always possible either.
Houthuis was a surprise. Although only gas is used they have a coffee station which I appreciated. Can charge cell phones and electric lights. Was warmly received. Well located to explore West Coast.
Enjoy the tranquility of the farm atmosphere.
Peaceful quiet stay.
No shower facilities, only a bath! The water is scarce, perhaps shower facilities would be better.
No hot water. Loose tap in kitchen. Outside braai was a ring of rocks on a sandy floor, would be better on a warm, less windy night.
If you like nature and silence, there is no better place than this. Everything needed for the evening's stay is there, gas for a nice hot shower, beds sleep wonderfully and if there is something that is not there, the silence and nature make up for it!
There you find rest and peace for your mind.

Everything was good. Two common problems: First, the coordinates as indicated on the website's email to me are incorrect. This landed me on a farm about 10 kilometers from Groenriviermond Accommodation. Secondly, on the website it is indicated that meals are available on demand. However, this is not the case. So make sure you bring your own food as there is no place to eat in the area.
In log house 2 were beds that were terribly hard. Had trouble getting the gas geyser going. No fresh water available. In log house 3 there were limited lights and no solar power/generator. Refrigerator's freezer section did not work. Here, too, the beds were terribly hard. No fresh water either.

This place is very neat and peaceful with very hospitable owners.
Very quiet undisturbed place, lovely hosts. Perfect remote getaway on the coast road in Namaqualand. Cottages rustic and small but well and thoughtfully set up. Would have loved to have stayed a week or more if we had time!

Great accommodation for if you want to stop over on the route between Hondeklipbaai and Lutzville. Would have been nice if there was an indoor braai as the wind blew quite strongly during our stay.

Very friendly welcome. Unit met our expectations. It's remote, but that's why it was pleasant. No cell phone reception, but that didn't matter. The dirt road of about 70 kilometers was in good condition. Due to the drought in Namaqualand, there were not many flowers to be seen.
Accommodation is very basic and it is too far from the N7 on a bumpy gravel road. service was very friendly.
