Beautiful spashpool for the heat and beautiful scenery and fresh air to switch off and have a good time and rest. Decent screen doors and screens in front of windows to keep bugs and snakes out. Lights and WiFi stay on through loadshedding. Can't wait for us next time.

This was a breathtakingly beautiful and painfully neat and clean farmhouse. The clear sky and bright stars in the Karoo were charming. The owners' hospitality was great, and then you are welcomed with a vara Ciabatta sandwiches with jam and butter. There is a self-help shop where you can pay in cash or with SnapScan. It has delicious sweets, packets of Futurelife porridge, pickles, milk and many more available. There is also free wood and "fire lighters" available. We will definitely spend the night here again if we ever drive to and from the Cape again.

We really enjoyed our visit here. The house exceeded our expectations. There is absolutely everything you could possibly need. The location of the house is private and there is so much beautiful scenery around you. The swimming pool is a great asset and a relief after a very hot day! There are cute homemade products for sale in the house - it was very cute and delicious! It's a perfect Karoo getaway - we'll definitely be visiting again!
Nicely close to the Karoo National Park where we did a day visit. Kilometers of dirt road for mountain biking or gravel biking with very nice views of the landscape and mountain range. Clean and only facilities with the Karoo silences.
The house is clean and tidy, the location is breathtaking, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return to enjoy Grootfontein to the fullest!
This beautiful, well-equipped farmhouse will exceed all your expectations. A lovely swimming pool, super clean house and Karoo hospitality awaited us after a long day on the road. The decor and. wooden furniture is unbeatable and speaks of the environment in which it is located. Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but will definitely be back for a longer, thoroughbred farm visit.
