GuBas de Hoek was my third accommodation in Robertson that weekend. We were a party of 6 and could not find suitable accommodation elsewhere. Compared to other accommodation we had booked that offered more facilities, GuBas was approximately R800 more expensive. We would therefore not return there. Other than that, the place is quite beautiful, other guests were friendly, and the hosts were kind enough to allow us to check in earlier than 14h00.
Breakfast was exceptional.

We had a nice stay at Gunter and Balbina's where you feel right at home. The reception lady, Sue Ellen, welcomed us warmly, showed and explained everything in the room to us, and to top it all off, greeted us with a glass of sherry. Gunter's breakfasts were delicious and the braai facility and kitchen met all of our needs. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. We wil definitely stay there again if we ever travel in that direction again.

The garden room is private with a peaceful atmosphere. The complex is well equipped with kitchens available for self-catering. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

We initially only booked for one night, but after being so kindly received by Collen and Belbina, we decided to stay another night. It was a great experience and wouldn't mind doing it again!

The German host and wife make an effort to make everything as comfortable as possible. The rooms are luxurious and fully equipped. The chef serves fantastic dishes. The place is central and very safe. Will definitely visit there again.
