There is a spacious kitchen counter as well as a dining table. The open-plan living area features a comfortable L-shaped couch, a TV with Netflix, and a cosy wood-fired fireplace, perfect for cold winter evenings.
Each stack door leads to a large deck with views of the lagoon and Milkwood Forest. There is an authentic wood-fired wine barrel hot tub under the milkwood trees overlooking the lagoon and a deck on the bank of the lagoon overlooking the “Picasso“ sandstone rocks. On the house deck, there is an entertainment area with a large braai and a pizza oven where guests can relax, roast marshmallows, and watch the sunset between the Milkwood Forest's branches.

This place is gorgeous! We enjoyed the safety and serenity, highly recommended for a healing retreat, we spoiled ourselves with massages and long walks. The trip to the unspoilt beach I still dream about.
A real rebooting weekend full of magical moments. Kayaking in the lagoon, walking in the Milkwood forests then coming back to a luxurious house where the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Oh - another highlight, sitting in the wooden barrel hot tub under a gazillion stars! Can't wait to go back - bliss.
We stayed for six nights in July. We were blessed to have surprisingly good weather in the middle of winter. Beautiful off-grid property tucked away between milkwood trees on the Kleinrivier lagoon. Located on Wortelgat farm. Beautiful surroundings. Secluded yet safe. Lots of paddling on the lagoon. Lots of braais. Lots of hiking. About 3.5km to Sopiesklip, worth a visit. The hot tub works, but light it early. Try La Cantina in Stanford for good Mexican food on the weekend. Our host was very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile.
The tranquility of the location is incredible. So many birds and small animals. Very nice environment. 'Off the grid' with everything you need. So well equipped with everything that opens and closes.

Please note that there is an 11 km gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking.Pets are not allowed.

Picnic baskets for a champagne sunset cruise on the Lagoon, massage therapy outside under the trees or inside the rooms, breakfast, lunch, and/or supper can be prepared braai-style, vegan-style, or vegetarian-style.
