Johan, the owner, prepared dinner for us himself after we didn't want to eat elsewhere. It feels like visiting family in the beautiful place. Everyone is friendly and helpful to make your time there as comfortable as possible. We will go out there again.
Close to the East London Airport with controlled entrance; friendly host; seperate rooms with own entrance; nice food!
The rooms are reasonable, but the TV channels are not well selected. kykNET and channel 403 (news) are not available. The shower in my room was not very good.
I was very impressed with the set up of the place, food, room we were staying in, the place gives a nice & fresh view to nature. I enjoyed Gulu Private Resort during my stay & would to go back in future. I will definitely recommend it to other people I know. Thanks for the excellent service!
A really nice place to arrive at after a long trip.
Everything was wonderful, we were treated like kings and wished we could have extended our trip to stay even longer! Highly recommended - we will tell all our friends.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and clean. The food at the restaurant and service was excellent. The owner and his wife are themselves involved with the visitors and make everyone feel very comfortable. The service at the rooms by the staff and also those who work in the gardens was very good and everyone very friendly. Only one suggestion is that the path to the rooms may be looked at, possibly made a little wider and perhaps more covered, especially when it rains. Furthermore, we slept peacefully and enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful view very much. Also conveniently close to the airport which is definitely a plus. Good luck and prosperity and many more guests and functions for the year.
A beautiful location with lots of rest and lots of animals
The peacefulness and tranquility was just what we needed. The staff were all exceptionally friendly, the food yummy and the atmosphere totally relaxed!! We would not hesitate to recommend the facilities to anyone who needs somewhere peaceful to spend some time!!
