The upstairs loft contains a space where children can enjoy a Foosball table and other activities. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. There is an island working station with 6 bar stools.
Outside is a lovely covered wooden deck with outdoor dining furniture, a splash pool, and also a fire pit braai area with seating, overlooking a waterhole where animals come to drink.
Undercover parking is available.

41 guests' feedbackHabibi really is a delight to stay in. It is clean and well-equipped with plenty of room. We hadn't planned properly for loadshedding but they had kitchen lights that came on automatically so we weren't plunged into darkness. The animals around the house are a real delight with different visitors every day. My only criticism is that building is taking place next door- you can't see it but you can certainly hear it from 7:30-4 midweek. There is quite a bit of construction happening in Marloth Park at the moment which does spoil the peace and quiet.
We will definitely go to Habibi again. Because there are no houses directly opposite Habibi, it was very peaceful and the house really has everything we needed. It's a great place.
My partner and I thought the flourishing weed cover all around the dwelling would be a fire hazard once the rainy season passed. Clearing a large area would also be a protection from ticks and snakes. The water hole pictured above was in really bad shape. There was a thick layer of black sludge on the bottom and the water was putrid. No self-respecting animal would drink from it. Suggest the water is changed and the muck scrubbed out every couple of weeks. This is why "cleanliness" and "value for money" only received 4 stars. Apart from those two complaints, Habibi is a lovely little place.
House was nicely cleaned and comfortable. Loved the airconditioners. Road from house to main road not too great.
It was wonderful to be in the woods like this. The animals were a big treat for us city jays. House was super convenient and comfortable.
We also loved the bushbaby coming for food. Lovely and quiet. Would definitely recommend Habibi and would love to go again.

We enjoy the silence of the Habibi house, a little away from TV and electronic entertainment and come to rest and become human again here. The animals come to visit and surprise us every time with what we see. The night is the highlight of the visitors when he makes his appearance.
Great time in a cute bushveld house with a large variety of animals that come to visit the watering hole. The nightcaps entertained us in the evening. Very well equipped house for a comfortable stay. Merle was an excellent hostess. It is definitely on our list of places to visit again!

Very comfortable and peaceful. One is not even aware of any other visitors. Habibi is so cozy furnished with more than enough of everything one needs. The warthogs enjoyed the mud pool and the giraffes also stopped by. I would love to visit again soon.

Habibi is like a home away from home. Everything that we need is right there. Loved the bush babies that visited us this time around. We wanted for nothing as the accommodation is thoughtfully set out for the traveller. We will be back!
Yes, the owner and I talked about no TV. What happened when we were there was it was very cold and unpleasant that day. There was rugby on, but unfortunately we are not the hang out in pubs type, so the weather was not nice and no rugby. I can absolutely recommend the accommodation, but I think it might be a problem for people, especially in the winter when it gets cold early, then you just stay in the house.
The visit was exceptional. Everything was neat and clean. It's nice and spacious inside and the splash pool is a winner for the heat.
What a place. Come rest and enjoy the animals. Will definitely visit again. Well appointed. Animals come to visit, especially the warthogs in the mud pool.
We really enjoyed it and will definitely return there again for another lazy weekend. It was nice to see no TV sets in the unit, but maybe over a longer period of time it could be good. About Habibi I want to make 2 comments. 1. In the master bedroom's bathroom there is a drain smell which was unpleasant. 2. The cottage is regularly serviced, but also needs a good cleaning. Also very comfortable.
The location is very private but the bush is terribly dense which makes it difficult for animals to walk through and visit, suggest that with all the rains in the season, there might be some opening up for animals. Large porch but the lighting is too little on the outside, only the six-corner light in front of the braai area but dark next to the house. The braai area doesn't work at all if it rains, of course it's each owner's choice whether they want to do a built-in braai or not, in the rainy seasons maybe a good idea, because people want to braai. The porch gets super wet when it rains and it will get damaged with the sun and rain, I'm just saying. The dishes are not washed properly which makes it a little uncomfortable, this is now the third house in Marloth that we have to wash the dishes ourselves when we arrive and want to use something, I think the cleaners just check if everything looks neat and then leave the facilities as they are without making sure als is clean.
We had a very nice holiday at Habibi's. The house is wonderful, exceeded my expectations. Everything you need is there and I would definitely recommend Habibi. We will definitely be back.

Habibi is tastefully furnished and well located. The stoep was a lovely place to visit. Thank you father for the air conditioning, because a heat wave hit us. I especially liked the good books that are in the bedside tables. We couldn't find a bottle opener and had to drive our wine to the mall!

One will not get closer to nature easily. A large variety of animals and birds come to visit on your doorstep. Well equipped house.
We had a great stay!! I would just suggest that they do something about the ants which are a problem! One cannot leave anything outside.
A place that is even more beautiful than in the photos! Neat, spotless, very convenient and comfortable. The nights were a great treat and lots of visits from various animals. The owner had specially delivered feed for the animals right in front of the porch. No other house in sight and only animal sounds audible. This was certainly not our last visit to Habibi!

We spent a few days relaxing in the forest with the children and grandchildren. The management (Merle) and owner (Heidi) made so much effort from the booking. The service is excellent, it is a very nice house, very neat and clean and there is nothing too short. We highly recommend it and will stay there again ourselves if we are in the area.
Very neat with all of the modern facilities, but still a bush atmosphere. Private area (you can't see the other house), a lot of game and birds. Close to the river for the person that likes to hike.
Loved every minute of the peace and calm beauty. Animals amazing, felt rested after weekend.

Habibi gave me one of the best experiences ever to be among nature with all the animals that come to eat right on your doorstep. It's peaceful by itself and the best place to introduce your children to nature and all its wonders. I will go again for sure.

Marloth Park is a nature conservancy area.No loud music or partying will be acceptable between 21:00 and 07:00. A noise fine will be handed out if we are called out, and the payment will be immediate or you will be asked to leave Marloth Park.
Please don't break branches off the trees to make a fire, wood is available at both shopping centres or at the main entrance.
Please don't feed the animals any kind of food, only the pellets that are available at the shops.
