We were booked for only one night en route to our destination, however, due to the unseasonal snow, we stayed an extra night. Obviously, being able to experience snow for the first time in the same environment is going to be a memory that stays with us forever. The unit that we stayed in was perfect for us to hunker down in with our two children, and we were really spoilt with the electric blankets on the beds. The breakfasts are delicious and the coffee served is some of the best we have ever tasted.

Unbelievably beautiful place. The rooms (stables) where we stayed are stylish and beautifully decorated, clean and tidy. Gardens are beautifully maintained. The people are very hospitable and helpful. We especially enjoyed the "honesty bar", don't see that much in South Africa. We will definitely book again.

This gem exceeded our wildest expectations! From the luxurious room to the cool pool and well-appointed entertainment area. We traveled with our teenage daughter and were upgraded to a family suite for free. We enjoyed the history of the house and the breakfast was excellent. We would love to visit Haggards on Hilldrop again in the future.

Clean and tidy. Love the rescue animals at the reception. All fat and well looked after. Just about that I will come back.
Very friendly hostess and beautiful sleeping facilities. Lovely garden and bar area with a good selection of drinks made us relax wonderfully. Inside the bar area there is a lovely air conditioner with the most beautiful furniture. And outside there is comfortable garden furniture on which you can relax by the beautiful blue swimming pool.
I enjoyed my stay there. The place is absolutely beautiful and serene. I sure plan to revisit. But they need to get bar fridges for the rooms.
