We were somewhat disappointed. Double bed makes terrible noise. One cannot turn without waking one's husband. Would have been so nice to have a kettle in the room. There was a kettle on a gas stove in the dining room, but no water! At least we had enough hot water to cover the bottom of the tub. Would not recommend the room we slept in.
No problems. Everything works and there is everything needed.
We were satisfied with the stay. The accommodation is not luxurious, but everything we needed was available. We were kindly received.

Ons was baie tevrede met ons verblyf by Hananja. Die eienaars was baie gasvry en vriendelik. Ons gaan vir seker weer daar wil bly.

Very neat and clean and very friendly and helpful. It was also very safe there. Can definitely recommend it. It's very basic but pretty good value for money. Will stay there again.
Very friendly service and the room was neat and clean.
Entrance door hinges loose and door therefor dragging along floor. No burglar guards fitted. Bathroom basin plug and fitting leaking, does not hold any water. Same basin silicone sealant against wall has wide cracks. No maintenance - no hygiene! Cutlery in kitchen lying on open timber shelf - not even a simple plastic container for the cutlery. I am not being nasty, but this venue's rates is not value for money!

Breakfast was excellent.
Everything was neat and clean, and the people were very friendly and caring,
ADSL line advertised as well as braai area and TV which we did not get. Hanging space for clothes very poor. Receptionist was not up to date with our payments and requested we still have to pay which appears very unprofessional.
From the reception to the check out the next morning, it was all awesome, we don't have any complaints. Would definitely recommend it to other visitors. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and the fact that our units were ready 2 hours before check in. Really a guesthouse we would definitely use again.
The place is very well located with a few malls and a variety of shops within walking distance. For our purpose it was perfect as it was about 2 km from the start of the Vaal Marathon. The linen could do with replacing. It's at a stage where washing will not quiet do anymore.

I will book there again in the future if I have to spend the night in that area and definitely recommend Hananja Guesthouse to prospective clients.
Very nice overnight stay - the people very nice and helpful and nice to talk to.
I asked for 2 single beds but got a double bunker which I hate and a squeaky double bed with flat pillows. Next to our room were people who talked very loud late night. The shower mat also needs a wash. TV did not work. All and all not a nice experience after all the Travelground places we used from here to Cape Town which was of a high standard.
Well located and very enjoyable.
Room 7 - Finishing of cupboards needs attention and a handle on bathroom door would also be nice.

Room neat and big without a small table to eat or write at. No place in bathroom to hang or put down clothes.
Place is neat, but some of the furniture is old and tired.
Safe, friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Walking distance from shops. Very good customer service.
