The self-catering chalets overlook the forest, are all private and detached from each other with air-conditioning and equipped that guests only need to pack clothes, toiletries and food.
Hanati has accommodation in 7 units of which 3 chalets can accommodate 4 guests in each, and 3 units for 2 guests. Each room has its own bathroom fitted with a shower toilet and basin. The Family Cottage has a spacious bedroom with a queen-size bed, 2 single beds and 1 bathroom. The chalets have a verandah with braai facilities, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, living area and covered parking at the unit. Units are not serviced for guests' privacy during the stay, therefore, each chalet has its own dishwasher.
The lodge boasts a large, communal swimming pool and games room which is very popular and in the evening. Guests can also relax around a campfire. Volleyball is available for groups. There is also full DStv in 1 of the Lapas.
Upon arrival at 1 of the entrance gates, guests can purchase a self-driving permit that indicates where all the restaurants, picnic areas, shops and other attractions are located. There is also a conservation fee that needs to be paid to the reserve by guests on arrival.
When the 4x4 adventure route is passable, due to elephant activity, self-driving game drives can be arranged. It's only for booked weekend guests at Hanati and at least 2 vehicles. The 4x4 route is unfortunately not available until 2025.
The resort is secured with an electric fence and remote-controlled gate for added security.

Cottage very comfortable and well equipped.
Neat, clean, and worth every cent.
Hubby and I decided to break away from the usual "life" just for a weekend. A little alone time. It was delicious. Would love to take our child with us in the summer to see nature and get literal knowledge for schoolwork and NW etc. It's like sports, better to experience for yourself than to see in magazines, internet or television. And something you will always remember. Thanks for that.
Gardens and surrounding beautifully maintained.
Owners are very friendly and hospitable. Chalets are private and very tidy with good quality bedding. Although the problem for us was, the resort borders the Dinokeng reserve, and is not located inside the reserve. The local houses you have to drive past are close to the resort and they make noise all night. But the resort has good security, which does not make you feel unsafe.
It was so beautiful and clean - very peaceful. The reception made us feel really welcome and is very close to Camp Discovery.

We had a great time at Hanati's. Attie and Hanlie were so friendly and we soon felt at home. You can see their hand is on the spot. Everything is neat and beautifully clean. Definitely the cleanest barbecue we've ever had. We would like to go again.

Very neat place. It was a lovely visit. Our host and hostess are people of a special nature. Friendly and hospitable. The accommodation is everything you need. Definitely a place I will come back to.

We enjoyed every moment. However, the sofa was not very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. Comfortable reading chairs will make a big difference. A dishwasher is nice to have, but not practical, since there are only 2 of all cutlery in any case and you are therefore forced to wash dishes all the time. For us it was no problem to wash everything by hand after every meal. Suggestion: replace couch and dishwasher with nice easy chairs.
Hanli and Arrie were wonderful. Always willing to help, even made a TV available for the important "rugby" game. Chalet is clean, and spacious. Bathroom a little neat, but efficient. Braai facilities are very clean and functional. Premises very spacious for movement especially with children. There's a large swimming pool (just not heated) but was kept very clean all the time.
Too bad the entrance is outside Dinokeng and right across is a squatter camp. Also sorry that there is no TV or radio in the unit.
Hanli and Attie are wonderful people. Very friendly, helpful. Will definitely visit there again, just to be able to get out of the city's noise.
Amazing hosts, amazing wildlife, just fantastic. Will be back next year!

Very nice and peaceful area, we had a very nice stay in Hanati. The chalet was well-equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely return to Hanati very soon.
