The 3 Bed room house comprises 3 rooms in a semi-detached house. The Red room has an en-suite bathroom, the Green and Blue room share a bathroom with a shower. Each room has a dedicated bar fridge and a safe.
The communal kitchen is well equipped with a stove, oven, microwave and fridge. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table or outside braai area, and can relax in the communal lounge with a Netflix movie.
An outdoor braai facility is available for use, a braai grid is supplied, however, guests can bring their own braai grid. One safe parking space is available behind an electric gate.
The Apartment offers 2 bed rooms. Both rooms share 1 bathroom located inside the apartment. the bathroom is fitted with a Shower-bathtub combination.

The place was clean, comfy, and homey. Cindy was unbelievable, friendly and accommodating.
Happy Home Woodstock is nice and cosy and situated in close proximity to Cape Town CBD. It served our needs perfectly as our belongings were secured while we explored the city. Sindi was very helpful and friendly. The parking is secure and the unit is also well secured. Although the unit needs some upgrades, we would definitely return and recommend Happy Home Woodstock.
The service was of a very high quality. It is ideal for those looking for a place to leave their belongings before exploring Cape Town. The area is a bit old, but very nice. Just think the wifi password must be requested, because it is not just given.
Stayed a single night for a show in Cape Town and had no issues. Bed was very comfortable.
My stay was very pleasant. There was Netflix as well, so I had something to watch. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
Happy Home perfectly matched my needs to be at Groote Schuur by 07:00.
The accommodation was very old, inside was clean, the braai area was not cleaned, so we could not braai. It's good enough if you just want to sleep for the night.
We stayed at the Happy Home Woodstock this December and we had booked 2 rooms. We were contacted by the host, and they were amazing in their approach and customer care. They welcomed us and showed us the keys, TV remotes, gates, etc. The rooms were neat and clean; however, the furniture in the rooms is old and of low quality. The beds were okay, but the windows did not lock or close. The kitchen is a disaster. The microwave is rusted (I have pictures), the fridge was frozen solid with ice, going back to the ice age. The stove was sticky, and my wife and I never went into the kitchen after our first few minutes. The area is noisy as it's not far from a main road, and we were promptly awoken by minibus taxis from 5:30, and the screams of the taxi conductor "Cape Town, Cape Town", and who can forget the hooting. There are people wandering opposite and then congregating in the evening to drink and argue. We noticed people sitting at the entrance to the house, and this made my wife extremely uncomfortable as the front door does not lock. I would never stay there ever again. It was rather late that we made bookings for Dec 2023, but for 2024, I will stay away from this place. The host was extremely friendly and assisted with the TV channels, etc., when I called them, and they came out and swapped out the unit. They were there to clean up and made every effort to comfort us. However, it was not enough, and we regret the stay and decided to leave early and stay in a group hotel for the remaining days in CPT.
We didn't spend much time at the unit. Would have appreciated some alternative lighting during load shedding. Beds were comfortable. Bedding clean. Kitchen had all the basics.
It was nice to stay there. Comfortable and simple accommodation. I would definitely recommend it.
Happy Home Woodstock is very close to the waterfront, it is just located on a very busy road that is noisy early in the morning. Cindy was friendly and helpful, it was a very pleasant stay.
Negative points: The guest house was not reachable on the cell number supplied when I wanted to make enquiries before we stayed there, and they did not reply on my voice message. The rooms were not very clean, especially the shower (and then they charge you R100 extra for cleaning!). We suspect the cleaning lady was on holiday. There were also no towels and soap, and the linen was suspect. No TV in rooms, only in the lounge. Positive points: the place was in walking distance from Groote Schuur Hospital, where we had to go. Quiet and safe circumstances. Wi-Fi available. The receptionist was there to welcome us when we arrived, and was supportive to recommended alternative, cheaper transport.
Relaxing and peaceful.
Will definitely go again.
Rather don't want to say anything, because otherwise other people won't book there. The place needs some attention. Cupboards are broken. Etc.
Please do visit. You can on only benefit, really. Just go there. As experience is the best teacher.

Cool location and loved that we had the whole house to ourselves. And loved that the place had a fully equipped kitchen and had DStv (although we were out and about most of the day) and although we were only suppose to book in at 2, Happy Home was accommodating by allowing us to drop our luggage off earlier. Unfortunately the fridge and microwave was not clean and the place had roaches and there was a funny smell in the kitchen was a bit of let down.
Had a great stay. Lovely home. Very friendly owners. Would definitely recommend Happy Home.
Good service. They waited for me even though I arrived very late at night due to flights available.
One room being shared by two other guests in one house is not suitable for any family. The bathroom, kitchen and the lounge area is shared with a TV with the cheapest channels. I only stayed one of my two days.
