I was very satisfied with everything about the stay and will definitely stay there again. The only negative aspect is that it was quite noisy on Saturday night until the early hours of the morning, both in the block and in the street in front of the block of flats. The apartment's soundproofing is definitely an issue. The Sunday evening was very quiet.
Would recommend that the particular unit need a good spring-clean and that the closets in the bedroom either be cleaned or locked.
A safe, peaceful getaway with everything you need and walking distance from attractions and shops. We will definitely be back if the opportunity arise and highly recommended.
There is no mention in the advertisement or any documentation of the terribly steep stairs in the unit. I personally struggled with my knee and it was difficult to climb up and down the stairs. It is very steep and far apart. If I had arrived with a wheelchair, I would like to know what you would have done. The parking for unit 14 is in the basement which has a similarly steep incline to each. I am very dissatisfied with this because, if I had known, I would have found another place to stay. Then, there is just a ceilig fan - Cape Town gets so hot the fan might as well have not been there. So I did not have a good stay.
Safe area to walk around. Walking distance from Waterfront. Got great exercise on the steep uphill in Boundary Way on the way to the complex. The complex Harbour Terrace itself has excellent security. No need to worry about your vehicle or personal belongings in the unit. Staff friendly and helpful. For those of us who don't know Cape Town it was such an experience to walk down to the Waterfront and getting on the Hop On Hop off buses.
The accommodation was clena and neat, but just a few spots in the apartment need attention, was adequate for a 7 day business visit. I had issues with the WiFi. On Sunday evening and Monday morning it worked well but was offline the rest of the week. Was only up again on the Friday morning. I was in contact with the company that did the rental the whole time to solve the problem - but in my opinion it still took much too long to find the owner to solve the issue.
Take note: the shower heads are slightly blocked by limestone and has to be cleaned.
Beautiful, it was peaceful, the place is central which is good.

House rules
A standard key & breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The holding amount depends on the length of stay and the standard of the apartment and may be changed at the owner’s / management’s discretion.The holding deposit is completed through a secure link with a credit card. This is merely a hold on the amount and released within 14 days after checkout if no claims were reported. If no credit card is available for the holding deposit, the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank and reflect in our account before arrival. We will then request a bank confirmation letter to process the refund back to the guest's account.
If none of the two options above was actioned a refundable cash/debit card payment must be made before check-in can be completed and there would be a min fee of R150 applicable for the processing of the refund back to your account. No cash refunds will be allowed.
No keys will be handed over without the above.
