Hartebeeskraal House and Cottage is set on a farm that is located at the foot of the Klein-Drakenstein Mountains in the heart of the Winelands. The farm lies between the 2 famous golf courses, Boschenmeer and Pearl Valley, as well as the polo estate Val de Vie.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering units, namely the Cottage and the House. The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area with air-conditioning. 2 of the bedrooms have king-size beds, and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. There is bunker bed in the 4th room. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath. A 2nd toilet is outside.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a Smeg gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a TV with full DStv channels. The cottage has an indoor and outdoor braai area as well as its own private courtyard.

20 guests' feedbackFantastic! The setting is beautiful and tranquil. This is the fourth time we stayed in this accommodation, and I'm already keen to return. Tania and Johan are fabulous hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. The staff members are friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation as an oasis to escape from everything.
We had an amazing time and were perfectly located for all the places we wanted to visit. Everything you need for a comfortable stay was there.
The cottage is nice and spacious, large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The outside toilet was out of order. Lovely kitchen. Very close to wine farms and lots to do in the area. We had a very nice stay.

We had a great stay! Nice big kitchen with indoor grill, nice wooden floors, big beds, nice view and close to the market. We stayed with our grown sons and their spouses for a wedding. Only problem was that we didn't know that the third bedroom is directly connected to the 2nd, so not private. We also couldn't get the door to the outdoor shower open. It wasn't the worst and everything else was comfortable and well equipped. The electric blankets and fireplace in the bedroom are great.
At Hartebeeskraal Cottage we spent 3 unforgettable days with friends we had not seen for 15 years. It was the perfect stay and the staff and owner went out of their way to make everything comfortable for us. Thank you very much!
Our group of 6 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm complete with visits from the 4 very friendly dogs. The cottage was neat, clean and spacious and the kitchen well equipped for self catering. The cottage has a great view of the farm, Paarlberg and Paarl. We battled with getting a Wi-Fi signal, but that may have been due to the loadshedding.
Our children loved the dogs and we all loved the area. A very pleasant place to stay.
We could take walks in the farm and even walk to the deli. I just wish they could add another bathroom.
We lost our hearts on the house! Beautiful view, Lovely home, it exceeded our expectations. Our visit was hopelessly too short, but we will definitely be back!
Lots of space and great beds. A large bathroom with WC, shower and bath. So you have to arrange washing together. Lovely porch where you can sit and relax. A nice terrace near the kitchen where you can have breakfast in the morning. Within walking distance is their own fresh deli stall with delicious freshly baked bread and other delicacies, vegetables, fruit, milk, etc. Restaurant NOOK in Paarl is highly recommended.

It's like stepping back in time but with the luxury of today - incredibly enjoyable! There is only one bathroom but with a toilet outside it makes things easier. We were welcomed by a bunch of friendly dogs who immediately made us feel at home. The view is unbeatable, the beds and linen are cosy, soft and impeccably clean and the whole place says - come visit and stay! I found my permanent place to live in the Cape - to refresh my soul and just have a good time.

It's such a beautiful environment and the cottage is fantastically equipped. The cottage actually has air conditioning which helped a lot in the hot weather. We can confidently recommend it to people looking for a quiet weekend and the most beautiful area!

Hartebeeskraal is a beautifully furnished house where we all felt really at home, could really catch our breath, and walk around the farm to our heart's content.
The cottage is full of character, spacious and elegant with a nice view and nice patio. The bathroom facilities may be somewhat skimpy for the number of beds.
