The house was comfortable and very well furnished. Access control via mobile has unique challenges, especially if your network, like ours, has poor reception there. If you like to get to the beach without driving, this estate may not be the best choice.

Hartenbos Landgoed no 142 is everything you are looking for and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a holiday. We really enjoyed the house and feel very safe. The environment is quiet and there is a lot of space. We will go again. I only think that the bed in the master bedroom needs to be replaced but otherwise everything was great. Thank you very much.

Feels like your own home, but the tranquility is what we need. House is fantastic, would just prefer teenagers to be able to sleep downstairs, out of mum and dad's feet. Everything you need and more. The owner is always helpful with questions and always helps. Thank you very, very much.

"Family gathering in the middle of winter."

It's a very nice place, and we had a great time. The kitchen and scullery are well equipped and the indoor braai and gas fire element in the sitting area were handy in the winter. It also helped that each room had its own bathroom and large double garage. It was me and my husband, my brother, his wife and our parents and 1 toddler. I will just keep in mind that the house is not ideal for small children. The stairs are very sharp and the railing is loose (we fixed it, after almost two incidents of falling). The house is cold in winter due to the large windows, but will be ideal in summer. Blankets are still needed in winter. As a townhouse, the downstairs room is small with 2 single beds, and our idea to also store the camp cot in the room didn't work, and little one slept in the lounge area. The 2nd room upstairs is also for children with a bunk bed, although the lower one is a double bed. The room also does not have a door in front of the bathroom. The master bedroom with balcony was very nice, it was just difficult for my parents in their 60s with the stairs. It's a nice, tidy place, well appointed, but maybe not for 6 adults when it comes to rooms, I think mostly it would be perfect for a single family. But Hartenbos was full and fortunately the spot was still available. The gas hot water system is just too weak in the winter for hot showers with enough pressure, but the tumble dryer came in handy. We spent most of the time in the house because weather and to be careful with Covid, and it was cozy and could make many new memories as a family, Christmas tree and all in Aug.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hartenbos Landgoed. Marlene and Sankie always made us feel so welcome, and everything in the house is top notch. We will definitely want to stay here again and again, couldn't have asked for better.

I will offer Hartenbos Landgoed 142 anytime. The house is neat, beautiful and has a warm and relaxing feel. We had a great time entertaining our family and friends there with the nice outdoor barbecue, spacious kitchen and dining room. Although there is so much to do in Hartenbos, we also spent a few days just in the resort next to the cool pool. Will definitely stay there again for vacation. "A home away from home".

Our family found the house adequate. House has three rooms. Room 1 has two small single beds, enough for two young people who can share. Room 2 has a double bed, would have preferred a king size bed. Room 3 has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. Sufficient for children who will share. We'll stay there again in the future. We have to mention that you do not have access to the beach from the estate. You must drive if you want to go to the beach. Noise can be a problem, because houses are close to each other and voices from neighbours can be heard when you want to sleep.

The unit is so clean and fully equipped. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly and I was at home and comfortable from day one. The security staff were just as friendly and helpful. I will not stay anywhere else again! Thank you very much.

Very neat place, full DStv was excellent. The signal is not the best, but why do you want to spend the whole day on your phone? Will definitely book at Landgoed 142 again!

Even before we arrived Marlene Nel contacted us. She went to such an effort to make out stay as convenient as possible. The accommodation was convenient, neat, modern, clean and safe - a 'wow' place. The beach is within walking distance even though it is not in sight. The estate is well located for driving everywhere. I would book here again and take my family with. We were pleasantly surprised with this new house, equipped with both indoor and outdoor braai facilities, a double garage and so much more. The place is beautiful, neat and comfortable. It is very safe with walking trails and a swimming pool on the property. The baths and showers in both rooms are a bonus. The friendliness and hospitality of the owner contributed to a very nice stay. We wished we could stay longer.
