Wonderful kitchen and so beautifully stocked with every plate, knife, fork, toaster, and thing you probably have in your own house. Very neat, very clean with beautiful views. Once you're outside the house, the private garden and lawn are bordered by the most beautiful tall fynbos and coastal growth. The whole setup is in a guarded, electric-fenced security estate. You can't do better for this price.
The area is beautiful and the estate is in excellent condition. The house is very spacious.

The house is very neat and clean and offers plenty of space for one or more families or group of friends. The house is very well equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, washing machine and box freezer which contribute to a relaxed holiday. The outdoor braai facilities open onto a beautiful lawn that is "fenced" with fynbos for optimal privacy. The home offers a comfortable indoor to outdoor lifestyle. Elize received us warmly and was available to answer questions.

Owner is very friendly! Most beautiful spacious house with everything you need. Dishwasher, cutlery, fridge, washing machine etc. Very neat and spacious. 5 min drive from Hartenbos seafront. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Bedding and kitchen were clean. There is a musty smell in the bedroom by the front door specifically, that smelled like wet or rotten carpet. Mildew in the shower is not good. The pillowcases and seating in the sitting room are dirty. Upstairs there are broken stuff and a bath tub with dirty water.
Ben and Elize are wonderful people who helped immediately if there was a problem and the holiday was really lovely.

5 bedroom house with 3 bathrooms and fresh, clean, quality linen. Pity the top floor bathroom does not have a shower. A well equipped kitchen everything that you need and more, lounge with comfortable seating arrangement and enough extra chairs to seat some guests as well. The house is very practical and comfortable. Braai area outside and under cover adds to the comfort of this establishment.
I would go there again. The sleeping arrangements can accommodate a lot of guests.

Dit was 'n heerlike reünie van ou kampusvriende. Elize (eienaar) was daar om ons te verwelkom. Wens egter daar was meer parkeerruimte vir almal se motors aangesien huis nr. 80 redelik ver geleë is op die landgoed en ons motors by ingang van landgoed moes parkeer. Ek beveel egter die plek onomwonde aan as jy heerlik wil kuier. Die handdoeke kan ook verbeter.

The Chalet was very clean and well organized with more than enough utensils for cooking and braaing . There was more than enough space in the fridges and freezers which was all switched on when we got there.

Neat accommodation, fully equipped. Spacious unit. We were very satisfied with the stay. We drove every day to explore area/visit beaches, so we didn't get to walk to the beach from the unit, it seemed a bit far to walk with 2 & 3 year olds anyway. If we had stayed there for the whole period (more than 2 nights), it might not have been the best option, hoping to be within walking distance of the beach. But we were fully aware that the unit is not right by the beach, so it was no problem for us. Safe feeling in unity and complex. Very good option if you are traveling with children, although unit is not fully fenced, that children can play outside on their own, it was not a problem for us, we hung out with children outside and kept an eye on them. One night's coffee/sugar/cream would be nice if you arrive late, otherwise you have to go to the store in the evening, or not until the next morning, which still wasn't a terrible crisis for us. Owner was very friendly and gave good instructions about unit keys, nearest shops, etc. Unit has 5 bedrooms, although we were only 2 adults and 2 children, the top 3 bedrooms were locked, bottom 2 rooms were a bit far from each other to let little kids sleep alone from us. Maybe just check with the owner at the time of booking if you have access to all the rooms, or only for large groups, we would have preferred to sleep in the upper part instead, where the rooms are closer to each other, but it was was not a problem, little children just slept in the TV room next to the master bedroom in the end. I would definitely recommend Hartenbos Estate 80, it was very good value for money and we were very happy with the stay!

The house is nice and spacious and has a nice playroom with a TV and DVD player for the children and a lounge with DStv for adults. Kitchen and braai area are well equipped. The estate is quiet and offers a swimming pool and play area for children, and it is safe. Access to Hartenbos' main beach is a 5-minute drive and 15 minutes by bike. We had a very nice holiday here.

I would recommend Hartenbos Estate 80 for anyone. It is spacious, neat and walking-distance from the beach. The decor is very exquisite with an ocean theme. I would definitely stay in Hartenbos Estate 80 again.
The owner was very friendly and considerate. Everything was prepared and 100% ready for use. The house is stunning and you can literally take 3 sets of clothes and keep your laundry clean in turn. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and luxurious and not to mention the beautiful Estate which offers a lot of security amongst other permanent residents. The gate to the sea was a real treat for us! Elize and her husband know what they are doing!
The house is painfully neat and I can't think that anyone would be able to fault the place. All facilities are there and the condition of the equipment is top notch, there was no skimping when equipping the house. I couldn't do anything else but recommend them. I will gladly return to the house.
We really loved the place, it was clean, neat and fully equipped with everything that we needed. We ran out of toilet paper on Day 2 but that was a minor thing.
Hartenbos Estate 80 is very tidy, safe and the complex is private and quiet. The owner has put her personal touch on the unit and it gives that warm feeling of being at home. We were surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival. Guests are provided with everything - from cutlery, pots, to basic cleaning products. The only downside is that you have to pay for the 2nd vehicle per day and that the gym is not available to guests, even though it is mentioned under amenities. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend this unit.
