Simply beautiful! Thanks to the hosts for your attention to detail. We’d love to book it again for next year. Honestly, the photos don't do it justice. You have to see and experience this place in person.
We were a group of 10, ages ranging from 10 to 80, and everything was so neat and beautiful and suitable for all of us. We will definitely visit Hartland again and recommend it to anyone.
Visited Hartland with my full family. The space of the premises and the facilities made it extremely suitable for small children. The house is very spacious, well equipped and very tidy. The location is very central. Good value for money at a time when travelers so often do not receive what is advertised. Hartland certainly did not fall that way. Thanks to Hennie for a very nice time we were able to spend here.
It was our first family holiday in 7 years and staying in Hartland only added to the wonderful holiday. It is a beautiful house that is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Blessing who came in was very friendly and cleaned and helped very nicely. The space of the yard, swimming pool and play frames meant that the children (and adults) could play happily all day. Would go back again anytime and definitely recommend Hartland to anyone going to Oudtshoorn. Hennie, thanks for all the information, communication and great accommodation!
Hartland is a beautiful place to live. Everything was clean and tidy and we were received with warmth and kindness. Everything we could possibly think of to stay comfortable and nice was there. We wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely stay at Hartland again if we travel in that direction. Truly an amazing place!
Hartland has the perfect name. It's an enormous, comfortable and exceptionally well-designed house. We were 4 adults and 4 children and there was still plenty of room left. No one could stop talking about this remarkable house with its long swimming pool, massive lawn and every amenity that child or adult could ask for.

We spent a glorious week over New Year at Hartland with friends and children. The house was very spacious and everything we needed was there. The grounds were beautiful and there was a lovely play area with sandpit and swings for the kids. The 15m swimming pool was a great hit with all and we spent most days in it or sunning ourselves in the great Outdshoorn weather around it. Blessings and Alice made sure the house was clean and tidy every day and their help really made us all feel like we were on holiday. Overall the holiday experience at Hartland was one thoroughly enjoyed by all and one we would definitely recommend and repeat ourselves. Many thanks to the owners for their fantastic hospitality and helpful advice. A spacious, clean and well maintained property with magnificent grounds and a great swimming pool. There was something for everyone and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a fantastic holiday in Outdshoorn.

Our visit to Hartland was one of our most enjoyable ever. It's a lovely holiday home with everything you need. It was a festival for the children, with the lovely large yard and playground. It was also a festival for the parents, to be able to visit on the stoep with good wine from the Klein Karoo. The house is located in a very nice rural area and close to good restaurants and activities. The owner is particularly hospitable and made us feel very much at home. We would definitely recommend it and would like to stay there again ourselves.
We felt like we had won the treasure hunt, after our internet search for accommodation turned out so wonderfully. It was truly excellent value for money. Four luxurious en-suite rooms and a massive living and barbecue area, with a "child's dream lawn" was definitely a winning recipe for us! nn

Always weary when booking online we were pleasantly surprised after a very long trip from Gauteng to find a beautiful Italian Farm-styled house to rest at, enroute to Cape Town. What an absolute gem, home away from home, with ample space for the larger family. We will most definitely make use of Hartland again when travelling to the Cape.
