We only stayed one night in Merweville in Hartsrus, but it certainly won't be our last time. Everything was just perfect.
Right next to book club for dinner.
Place was very clean and tidy. We got everything we needed and everything worked. I would sleep there again.
Would love to buy property there to retire.
We had a great stay at the place, right next to the book club restaurant and coffee shop and also close to a cute little shop.
I would stay there every single time and highly recommend the cottage for families with children who want to wake up right next to the Boekklub restaurant in Merweville!
Very nice stay, basic but everything you need is there.
Lovely place. Close to restaurant and shop. Huge amounts of thorns on pathways and garden, poor children had thorns all the time, but duwweltjies are common in this area.
Here we could switch off and just experience the tranquility of Merweville.
Hartsrus is a neat and spacious Karoohuis located just next to Die Boekklub. The house is clean and well equipped and Olga is very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!
Merweville has stolen our hearts in the past. It's a beautiful village with the kindest, most charming and most helpful people. When we travel from the north to Cape Town we always stop there.
We really enjoyed our weekend in Merweville. Hartsrus is well equipped with everything you need and is clean and tidy. We had a nice meal next door at Die Boekklub when we weren't having a barbecue and the kids loved the "mall"!
