Beautiful apartment. The host was very nice. Als was clean and tidy. Solar provides power during loadshedding. TV has limited channels but 144 are there. WiFi, fan, kettle, braai pan, toaster, microwave, small fridge, necessary plates/cups/glasses/knives/glass bowl are all there. Car safe behind locked gate. Very safe place. What a gem we discovered! Oh and the bed sleeps well! And shower is a pleasure to use! 10/10 place! Thank you!

It was a nice place to sleep for us. It's small, but has everything you need.
Place very small. Cold in winter. No electric blanket to warm the bed. No place to put suitcases. Window and sliding door slam when the wind blows. Keeps you awake. Can hear neighbors clearly. No dust to make food. Frying pan only. Only one braai facility. All residents cannot barbecue at the same time. Towels are not replaced. Rain. Couldn't hang towels outside. Cutlery outdated and we didn't actually use it at all.
There was only one towel and only one peppermint even though we booked for two. Also meet some of the minimum requirements.
Everything was clean and tidy. Was worried about parking but didn't need to be. There was secure parking.
The location was perfect for my stay, I had a good night's rest. Everything clean and neat, but basic.
The first thing that bothered me, which was not very clearly communicated to me, is the fact that I had to pick up my key at a different address (if driving with own vehicle it was a different matter, but with rode a shuttle). The room is average, quite cramped kitchen. No preparation for load shedding. Not coming to refill my coffee supply at all. One segment of the blind in front of the sliding door that is the entrance is gone and the sliding door also has difficulty closing.
We were directed to another address, 7 Helling Street, Brackenfell. The room was not like the pictures. The place was full of dust and the bedding had stains on the sheets. DSTV didn't have all the channels and the kettle lid was loose. There was no Netflix or smart TV and the glasses were only single. There was only one small shampoo and shower gel, and the microwave was very old, as was the furniture in the room. There were only 4 sugar packets and cheap coffee, washing-up liquid and toilet paper.

I had a very nice reception and arrived at a very nice, clean and tidy room.
The place was lovely, I just found that it could have been cleaned on a daily basis. We stayed there for 7 days and it was only cleaned once. The towels got dirty, the dustbin was full etc. We could not braai as it is right outside another unit, which makes it very uncomfortable. When there were other people staying there, it was noisy as their doors are right on the bedrooms. The owner is friendly and the place is very conveniently located.

Neat, but very small for the amount. No bedside lights, just a bright room light. Bed very large for the small space. Nothing to put on your suitcase except the bed. Just miss the finer details.
We had to stay in accommodation that we had not booked (and which was much smaller) because there was apparently a problem with the geyser at our booked unit. The least that had to be offered was to offer a discount on the accommodation. The cookware was unusable. No cloths or diapers or washing-up liquid that you would expect from a self-catering unit. Also only 1 toilet/shower for 5 people. Luckily we only booked 1 night.
Very basic, not value for money.
