I had a nice stay, but I missed that there was no electric blanket on the bed, as well as the fact that you have to pay for air conditioning. In winter, a traveler does not want to spend the night at a guest house without the amenities.
It was very cold, but luckily the tokens for the aircon, which you can read in, help. The place was soon warm and we bathed and slept very well.
Excellent stay at Helenas, the room and service were superb on two separate occasions. The hosts welcomed us in and the room had everything we needed. Additionally, we needed some assistance in the evening and early morning, and on both occasions, they assisted immediately. Parking is secure and the location is ideal - close to shops and also nice and quiet.

Although this is only an "overnight" accommodation, it would make a big difference if more space was provided to put items on, e.g. an oblong table in the bedroom and especially a shelf or table in the bathroom.

We were looking for a convenient place, close to shops and restaurants. We visited the show and it was nice and central.
No power, no hot water and not even a jammer! It's very, very poor service. A pity would do, but no nothing. I know something was blown somewhere, but what did we have to pay R650 for? A bed, because that was all that was comfortable.

I had to service my car in Bloemfontein and booked a place at Helena's. It was almost an 8 hour journey from my home in Aggeneys. The owner contacted me by phone almost immediately after my fees were paid to give me the location as well as my password. A friend and I only got there late, but were nevertheless warmly received. We went to drop off my car the next morning and on our return saw that we had cleaning services, which was a really nice surprise. The bathroom is very spacious with a large shower. Good quality beds for a good night's rest. Staff is very helpful. Thank you very much Helena's Overnight Accommodation!
