Unit 4 is separate from the main house, with a separate entrance, braai and fully equipped with kettle, toaster, induction plates, pots, and everything you need. There was even fresh milk for coffee to swallow the long journey. Unit is extremely clean and tidy, and is perfect! I can recommend anyone to stay with Christine, it's definitely value for money. Ideally located within walking distance to restaurants, shops etc.

We were very late due to traffic and work and Christine was very helpful and waited for us (even though it was very late after check in time). She helped us find the nearest places to eat (she just had menus and references). Everything within walking distance (market for breakfast too). Everything was very comfortable and private. Linen and towels were good quality, everything was clean and tidy, extra personal touches were lovely. Can't fault anything and would definitely stay there again if I have the chance.

We had a nice stay. The place is neatly furnished and close to Hermanus. There are nice places to visit in the area.
Very nice stay at Hemel en Aarde Village. The facilities are great and the hostess is very interested in her customers' well-being.
Doesn't look like photos. In a backyard with lots of chickens and the whole lawn littered, so you have to tread carefully to avoid the chicken droppings. Not dog friendly with chickens either. There was always a stinky chicken coop smell and flies were unbearable.
All-round great experience, will gladly go back next time we need to be in Hermanus.

Excellent location in terms of restaurants, shopping centers, the facilities in the Hemel and Aarde Village, valley as well as Hermanus surroundings in general. The accommodation was neat, comfortable and very well equipped.
It's an ideal place for families with children, the horses, chickens give a rural atmosphere and the destination is pet friendly.

We loved the doggy box. I think that it is an excellent idea. The white bedding is a slight problem with dogs. The quality of beds and linen was superb. We also loved the free-roaming chickens.

We loved staying here. Christine was super helpful and very friendly. We loved the complimentary creams and shower gel in the bathroom, it was divine. The location is also superb and we could easily walk to shops, walk to wine tastings and also go for runs. Christine has a bunch of very friendly chickens on her property as well as a rooster so might keep that in mind if you want to sleep in. I did sleep with earplugs on the second night onward and I didn't hear the rooster with my earplugs and it worked out well. We will definitely visit again.

Super welcome and we found cosy accommodation (bedroom and living area) in an idyllic setting. Wake up to hens crowing is like being on a farm. Ideal location with superb bakery serving delicious breakfasts just 200 m away and walking distance to a few restaurants, brewery and a wine tasting venue. Christine was the ideal host.

We ended our holiday with a 1-night stay at Hemel-en-Aarde Village Accommodation. The room was well equipped for 1 night, but a longer stay to explore Hermanus and surroundings would also be ideal. There is secure parking for peace of mind, a gas braai and DStv to make the time spent in the room comfortable. Many thanks to Christene (owner) for her hospitality.

Clean, well-organised studio with everything we needed. For our 2 small doggies enough fenced space and outside the gate space were they could run. Very helpful staff.
