Should guests want to enjoy a taste of local produce, Hemel en Aarde Cottages offer a selection of delicious, locally produced platters to make your stay extra enjoyable and memorable. Platters include cheese and meat platters, and breakfast platters and baskets.
Wine can be tasted at any of the famous wineries on the doorstep, and Hermanus which is world-renowned for its whale-watching and beaches, is 15 minutes away by car.

Sharon was just an amazing hostess. We stayed with our three kids 8, 10, and 12 years for three nights. Used Sharon's recommendations on Vineyards and had an amazing time. The hot tub with the kids at night watching the stars was amazing. Highly recommended! The flies are part of being on a farm.
Very relaxing family time. Just what we wanted. Everything we needed for the young baby we had with us was put in the cottage without us even asking. Very thoughtful.
My husband and I wanted to get away and just relax with a nice view and comfortable room. The olive room was really just beautiful and so "cozy". There is a nice fireplace in the kitchen/TV room. Little things made it really nice like e.g. the warm blanket on the bed, the kolkol was incredibly nice especially with the cold weather. Hair dryer and plenty of blankets and towels. We were also spoiled with the platters that we pre-ordered from Sharon, and they were very tasty and fresh. It is located in a very peaceful area in the valley and she suggested many places. She is very lovely and lit our fireplace and got the fire going because we arrived late. Her dogs are also just as lovely and obedient and very loving!
Good stay, lots to see and do, winter and summer. We went for the wine tasting and everything is nice and close to the Cottages.
We love this area of the Western Cape and will be back.
Would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.

We enjoyed the tranquility, the walk along the river and the KolKol on the cold evenings. Will definitely be back in the future!
Very private with exceptional view and well located. Unity is as good as home. Self-catering for the price should offer the basic cleaning option in terms of making beds and mopping floors. Still a great stay!
