I was on a business trip and had my son with me. They accommodated us with early check-in and late check-out. All round we are extremely happy with the full service and friendly atmosphere.
Definitely worth it. So special and felt at home. Friendly and warm welcome. Rooms very neat and carefully equipped. We were briefed on the area and given options for dinner. Breakfast was like a feast.
Herberg Manor is exactly what one wants from a guest house. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony with a nice view of the mountain and town. Breakfast was very nice. The house is tastefully furnished and our hostess made us feel very welcome. Definitely value for money.
Beautiful house, tidy and freshly painted inside and out. It's a shame that guests are treated so coldly and matter-of-factly by the manager.
First night in cottage was unpleasant. If you open windows, slam the blind against the wall and lift the blind, everyone can see right into the room. With loadshedding, we could not use the air conditioner. The second night we were in the guest house which was better.
I will take a detour to sleep at Herberg Manor again. Beautiful guest house, clean and rich in atmosphere. Friendly staff, was pleasantly surprised with the whole setup being transformed into a pampering experience. Breakfast was tasty and fresh with extra little details that made it exceptional. Definitely recommend.
There was only one towel. Unfortunately no small towel or an extra one for the next morning.
Would recommend Herberg to anyone and we will definitely stay there again. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast prepared by 2 more friendly ladies namely Linda and Iyanda!
