I recommend this venue to anyone wanting to view the ocean and waves crashing from your comfortable bed. Four of our days' stay we were able to see whales from the deck of our unit. Unbelievable.

Well appointed. Stunning oceanfront position. The only downside is you drive through the Abalone farms to get there (ugly) but it is not a problem once you arrive in paradise!
Everything was perfect, could not ask for a better location, you are right on the water with nothing blocking your view.

The location is great, just a shame that it is next to the abalone farm which affects your view a bit. One thing that really bothers me as an Afrikaans person who has supported the website and its customers a lot now is the DStv package offered by the places that do not include Kyknet 144, as well as limited sports channels. This was not an exception and I do not let myself be told that the African market does not make up a large percentage of their bookings. If you stay a little longer, you sometimes want to watch a little TV.

I would suggest that the check-out time could be extended a bit.
Hermanus has areas of safety and not so safe. This area you feel safe in the complex, but would not be able to walk freely surrounding it, so you need to be able to drive.
The abalone factory detracts from the location. The white carpets in the house are not practical. The deck is in urgent need of repair and varnishing. One bedroom window is broken. The house needs painting and the gutters repaired. The garden is also neglected.
