Parking area is hopelessly too small. Can be more elaborated please.
Great location and value for money. Parking a real issue and could do with more parking, especially for 3 couples with 3 cars. House is very functional. The fireplace is amazing. Braai outside was a bit of an issue with bad weather and could consider a built-in braai and close patio up for winter. Otherwise very happy with the house. Wi-Fi is an issue and cellphone signal but sounds like more Service provider issue vs a house issue.
What an amazing little cottage! If the price was not so steep for a couple alone, we would have been back pretty soon. This place was impeccable and welcoming.
The visit was lovely, but there were a few things that bothered us. The bedding smelled like a closet, there was only a bath, the pots were very old and on fire. And the TV is out of the archives, especially if you wanted to watch World Cup rugby. Bad parking area where trees scratch your car, as in our case.
Would just suggest that you have a braai that can make a wood fire for those of us who like to hang out by the fire. Parking was a bit tight and we struggled to get our 2 cars out of the way. Nor was there a broom in sight to sweep the house a bit. Would love to come back in the winter to sit by that cozy fireplace!
Had a very good weekend at Heron Cottage even though the weather was not good. Very peaceful stay, especially enjoyed the natural garden.
The silence, natural environment, view even from every room.
Thought sea is closer. Cold taps in kitchen and bathroom need attention.
Will return to Heron Cottage again anytime. We enjoyed our visit.
Even though the weather didnt allow us to go to the beach, the house was beautiful and cozy to stay indoors by the fireplace. Very beautiful family home

Please note, the third bedroom is accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.A 50% deposit of the rental fee is required upon reservation of the property, with the remaining balance due two days prior to arrival, payable into the designated bank account.
Payment of the deposit will be considered acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, thereby securing the reservation.
Upon arrival, the guest and their invitees are expected to carefully review the Special Instructions provided. The guest is responsible for the conduct of their invitees throughout the rental period and must ensure that the property is used with care, respect, and in compliance with the rules outlined in the Special Instructions.
The maximum occupancy of each house is limited to the specified number of guests.
Any loss or damage to the owner’s property—including the inverter, linen, fixtures, fittings, equipment, or other items—will be assessed solely by Be in Betty's Bay, and the guest will be required to pay for such damages upon demand. Guests must notify Be in Betty's Bay of any losses or damages before departure.
Children must be supervised at all times when using the swimming pool, wooden hot tub, or jacuzzi.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the owner or Be in Betty's Bay, the property becomes unfit for occupancy during the rental period, the guest will receive a refund limited to the period of unavailability. No further compensation will be provided.
The owner and Be in Betty's Bay reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time, before or during the rental period, if the guest or their invitees behave inappropriately or cause a disturbance, at the sole discretion of the owner or Be in Betty's Bay.
Guests must observe the local quiet hours, which begin at 22:00.
