Each cottage also features underfloor heating, and is equipped with a large shower and a bath, and selected DStv channels. Guests have access to a private outside area.
The garden offers a variety of bird life; where over 120 species have been recorded at Heuglins and the surrounding estate. Guests are welcome to explore the surroundings, and enjoy activities such a walking, bird watching, fishing in the dams, or just relaxing in the serene environment.
We are close to the Kruger National Park and Panorama Route. Heuglins offers the guest the opportunity to visit these destinations or to just lounge in the pleasant atmosphere of our cottages and garden.

24 guests' feedbackGood accommodation, safe even for single walkers. Was for photographer as well as the band and DJ of a wedding. So the accommodation was paid for by the bride and groom - surprised out of our socks with the beautiful accommodation.

Heuglins has luxuriously furnished cottages in a breathtaking garden full of birds. The owner, Brian, is friendly and helpful! A place to return to again and again.
Absolutely lovely peaceful atmosphere under the trees on the Heuglins and a spacious unit for a couple and the dog children. Will definitely stay here again. Close to White River but also out of the hustle and bustle.

What an amazing place to stay! Loved every moment of my stay. Loved the walking and the running options. Birding is outstanding. Would have liked a desk to work on considering that I was there for work. Brian promised to have one there for my next trip.
Silver clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished.
My son and I stayed there to support my other son's cricket tournament at Uplands. Place is very clean and tidy. Also cleaned every day. Owner and his wife are lovely people.

We were on our way to the wildlife park and were only looking for overnight accommodation. Safety was at the top of our list and Heuglins is located in a beautiful Estate, where we felt completely safe. It is big enough to go for a walk or a run. The accommodation is tasteful and immaculately clean. We traveled with adult children, their companions and a grandchild. The separate cottages, each with a full bathroom, were ideal for privacy and a good night's rest. Our cars were safely parked.
Received good customer service from owner. Very safe and quiet.
All that bothered us were the dogs that bark early in the morning and when you go for a walk. The workers also make noise early when they come to work.

Private accommodation set in secure, beautifully treed surrounds. Lots of birdlife. Extremely welcoming hosts. The unit was spotless, well equipped and furnished luxuriously. Caters for the most fastidious traveller.
A bigger waste bin is needed for empty food packets. Due to much rain there was a lot of water around and mosquitoes. The overhead fan helped to keep the mosquitos from biting.
Very well equipped self catering accommodation. Received friendly service from owner - may need to update gate directions. Will definitely use Heuglins again.
We enjoyed the tranquility. Sitting on the veranda, listening to the variety of bird life, especially the Heuglins Robin. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We would love to return if we are in the area again.

It is central, safe, beautiful, neat, peaceful and our host was excellent. Definitely not a place where you will be able to keep your children busy, but it was nice for the 2 of us for a long weekend getaway. Totally private.
I would recommend Heuglins to anyone who is looking for a quiet breakaway. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming. Had a wonderful stay.
