We as a family had a very nice stay.
Very peaceful and beautiful.
The resort is lovely and secure. Unit is well equipped. Gas geyser made showering a bit tricky but better than nothing.
Pleasant stay. Had 3 downfalls. Had a toilet leak,no cable for dvd player and stairs are the ulimate killer. I'd give 4 stars if wasn't for stairs. Felt safe. Close to everything. Beach safe and clean.

People are very friendly there. A washing machine would certainly be an asset to the cottage itself. We checked out the washing machine at the office, but it looked like it hadn't been used in a long time.
Unit was neat and comfortable. The water shortage on the South Coast is just a frustration. When we arrived at the resort on Friday there was no one at the office to welcome us or give us information. Other than that, everything was very nice.
We didn't have a beach umbrella, but the unit had an umbrella that we borrowed. There was dish soap, mosquito nets and mats that we could have used. Double plugs etc.
The unit is very neat, comfortable, clean and everything you need is available, except bed linen and towels as was informed.
Would have been nice but no water.
Would just please recommend that you go with a vehicle that is high off the ground, my car hurt badly every time we had to go over the bumps. Children really enjoyed the playroom and everyone there is very friendly.
You can't walk to the beach, it's dangerous, it's not a nice area at all. It doesn't have a nice beach. Only the double bed was comfortable. The other beds were rock hard and not suitable for adults to sleep on. It was also a problem for me to take my own bedding, it took up a lot of space. The furniture in the unit is also uncomfortable. It is also not fun for me to climb so many stairs to get to the unit.
We had a great time thank you. There were toys and boogie boards and beach umbrella to take to the beach, much appreciated. Also the unit is modern and comfortable.

Easy to find the resort and also in the resort easy to find your house, the people all of them are friendly, almost can't wait to greet, the house is very nice and have everything you need, the beach and town are walking distance, very nice, would like to go again.
I'm going to keep it short, because it's a stunning resort, close to everything. I want to go again next year, this time only much longer. A thousand thanks to you there at Hibberdene River Resort - we and of course us and our kids had the time of our lives and had a great time, because we thought the place was going to be small, but wow you exceeded my expectations!
Very quiet, can listen to the sea in the evenings and the night sounds. I would recommend River Resort Unit 98 anytime, the rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. Apart from the power outage the unit is very good.
Overall a very neat unit but we struggled repeatedly trying to get the hot water running and the one drawer we had to store groceries in had an overwhelming smell of damp and mould which clung to the food. I would not recommend this resort to families who like to socialise as there are many pensioners living there and not much in the way of social gatherings.
Satisfied. Clean and neat. The photo was just misleading. If we knew about all of the stairs, we wouldn't have taken the place. My husband had a hard time climbing the stairs because of his back.
Place very neat and very quiet there, will definitely go again.

It was very peaceful to stay in nature away from city noise.
Apart from own bed linen and a DStv decoder which must be taken with you, everything you needed was already there, neatly clean and comfortably in its place, children farmed on the queen size folding bed in front of the TV when we weren't at sea, played nice tennis, very quiet and peaceful environment with beautiful plant and animal life around the place and nicely located at the top of a hill. Real value for money, would definitely use River Resort 98 again should I holiday in Hiberdene.
The people very friendly. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the walks through the resort with its beautiful gardens. Also like the little animals there - they were not annoying at all. The swimming pool was always nice and clean. Would return there. Accommodation comfortable with everything needed. I would just suggest they add the GPS coordinates to the address, as we struggled to find the place.
The only negative is the fact that the geyser is powered by gas. So yes, if 4 people are to shower/bathe, it's quite inconvenient. Do not think the unit is suitable for 6 people. Could not contact the resort's people on the given phone numbers, had to phone the maid to get the owner's number. Instructions to get the geyser going were not 100% correct on the information sheet. Other than that we have no complaints.
