It was one of the coldest weekends in the Free State, but our Hideaway place felt like a warm hug. The room was already warm when we arrived in the evening and the place has literally everything you need for a weekend away. So beautiful, clean and tidy! We had a really nice stay. Thank you so much!
However, would recommend accommodation for family with two small children and not two teenagers. Sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable but would be fine for small children.

We stayed 4 nights. The apartment is very neat, comfortable, private and also has a large lawn that you can enjoy as a family. It's modern yet cozy and exactly as the picture shows. There was very good coffee, a braai area and overall the apartment is of good quality. Really value for money. It's rare that the photos show exactly what a place to stay looks like. Actually, the reality is even better. Jacqueline is incredibly friendly and extremely welcoming with great communication even before we got there. Would definitely recommend Hideaway and stay there again!
There was regular follow-up to see if we needed anything. There is a nice lawn for the children to play and a stoep where you can visit and barbecue.

The bracket against the wall on which the DStv box stands is only in the way when the sleeper couch is folded out. You might want to look into moving it so you don't bump your head against it when you walk past the TV. We had a great stay, thank you very much.

Hideaway is tastefully furnished, kitchen equipped with high quality equipment. Bed linen, white and crisp, electric blanket, air conditioner. There is also a lovely patio where you can relax. Large gas braai on the patio at kitchen. Jacoline was very friendly, I can recommend Hideaway.

Hideaway is a beautiful accommodation choice for an overnight stay if you have a long way to go. We received a friendly and warm welcome. There are decent places to eat very close by. We slept well and were well rested the next morning for the rest of the long drive.
We really enjoyed our night at Hideaway. The lawn was nice and big and the children enjoyed being able to just run around and ride their bikes after a day of sitting still in car seats. The apartment inside is very stylishly furnished, and everything is very modern. Would definitely recommend!

The unit is very private, in the backyard of a hairdressing salon. The backyard is spacious with a neat lawn. All the furniture and linens are new and stylish, and the unit is nicely designed. The bed is fantastic! I would only suggest that security gates (eg Trellidors) be fitted to the french doors, then one can sleep with the doors open. The unit is near the thoroughfare through Bethlehem (between Bloemfontein and Durban), but we could not hear the traffic. The street itself is quite quiet.
Plekkie has all the essentials. Everything is nice and clean. Owners are very helpful and hospitable. Area in and around the place is nice and spacious if you spend the night there as a family. Would definitely recommend this stay.
