Spacious, immaculately clean, well-equipped accommodation in an ideal location - highly recommended.
Beautiful setting! Oak tree was nice and private with nothing in front of us except the beautiful view! Lovely fireplace, a Nespresso machine (with pods) as well as a filter coffee machine with biscuits, milk in the fridge and everything spotless! Beds and linen were of a high standard and we slept well. Could easily stay here for a very long time! No cell phone reception in the area, but the WiFi was good in the living room. However, could not accommodate in the master bedroom.
Very good for us were a group of 12 adults. Good one night stay, with nice facilities to relax.
Amazing cottages with peaceful farm surroundings. Beautiful views of the valley. Very special to see cows walking past the house. Spacious accommodation that meets all one's needs. Very neat and clean. Absolutely loved the stay.
The security gate was out of order and the owners did not temporarily place security at the open gate. We sent an SMS about it, but the management still did nothing about it. Any outsider could therefore drive in and do whatever they wanted on the premises. This is an enormous risk for guests. The farm animals could also have ended up in the busy road with the open gate.
Beautiful serine setting perfect for a quick getaway to explore the Hemel en Aarde Valley - lots of wines farms around to keep you busy and lots of friendly bulls to keep you company.
The silence and the surroundings were incredible. We had a great time, wanted to stay longer.
Went jogging early morning and really enjoyed the fresh air. Good, challenging mountain-bike trails.
Although we only stayed in Agapanthus Cottage for one night we left feeling refreshed, as if we had stayed a few days. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, but the highlight for us was definitely the stunning, well-maintained grounds around the cottages as well as the amazing vistas. Watching the pretty Nguni cattle grazing right in front of our cottage was also a treat. We hope to come back.
The location was supurb, the facility was very comfortable (and as advertised). The one small glitch we had with the electric power was fixed very quickly.

Beautiful view from the lounge/open kitchen where you could find cattle eating. What a sight to see. Best bed ever. Lol. Enjoyed some bubbly in front of the fireplace. While we were there the wind was blowing, but the sound through the trees was calming. Lovely place for couples as we really enjoyed it as newlyweds and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended.

The property was really nice, just that it hadn't been cleaned very well from the people who stayed there before us. Especially in these Covid times you don't expect to have a dirty place to stay that you need to clean before you use anything including the utensils. Location is amazing and lovely for families.

Stunning setting, farm ambience, cattle, ducks, amazing bird life. Very well-equipped farm cottages. Close to Hermanus, wine farms and restaurants. Lots to do in the area.
There are no words to describe the natural beauty and surroundings. The tranquility of the farm and animals make your stay worthwhile.
Everything was 100% perfect. Fully furnished with the loveliest wooden furniture, bath, WiFi, DStv, outdoor barbecue etc. The Nguni cattle, with their calves, were almost a great treat. We are already planning to go back again. Lost our hearts there. Thank you very much.
What a nice place, would love to go back there, it's so nice and quiet and in the middle of nowhere, exactly what we wanted. The farm animals walking around there were also a big surprise, and we took nice peacock and nguni photos. Two simple things that bothered me a bit: The headboards of the beds in one room were not bolted to the wall, so it creaked a bit when you rolled around in the bed. We were promised that we would get king-size beds, not 2 smaller beds pushed together.
The whole place exceeded our expectations!

The setting and view over the paddocks to the mountains was gorgeous! The self-catering cottage had absolutely everything to ensure comfort - even a coffee plunger and drip coffee machine! Our only regret was that we hadn’t booked a longer stay.
If you are looking for a combination of tranquility and a nice farm environment, High Season Farm is your place. If you land then you are now truly in heaven. I went with my parents and my dog for two days. We were received with a big smile and a warm heart. The farm was ours for the two days. The cottage was clean, warm and very comfortable. There was coffee, sugar, etc. and just nice wood ready for the fireplace. Beautiful, friendly 3 dogs walk around the site and come to say hello every morning. The large shopping center is only a 12-minute drive from the farm. There is no cell phone reception, but WiFi is strong to keep in touch with loved ones. Thank you very much, Jani, for a nice two days.

The farm is easily situated on the Hemel and Aarde road- very safe and secure. Each little cottage is fully equipped and beautiful, with everything that one will need. We had an incredibly pleasant stay with beautiful views of the mountains.
High Season Farm is a fantastic place just to get away and have good family time. Sam is an incredible person and made sure we see the whole farm and we had everything we needed. Good place for couples and families.

Second visit to High Season Farm. First round stayed in lodge with other family. The two grandsons were especially excited about the farm and the rest of us agreed. Very homely and you feel at home. Comfortable and neat. My husband and I stayed in Protea Cottage on 5 and 6 August 2018. Cozy and everything possible that we needed. Lovely king-size bed with luxurious bedding. Always a plus. The fireplace, which worked excellently, made good use of the ample wood that was provided. It rained wonderfully and it made the farm look even more beautiful. Even two days felt like vacation. Definitely coming back soon. Hermanus is 9 km away and apart from the places to eat in the valley itself, there is just so much more.

We loved this place the most! Breathtaking views of the valley, relaxed and peaceful environment, very clean and tidy cottages with everything you could need, ours had a lovely big Oak tree on the front porch, cosy fireplace inside, cows grazing on the grass in front of our cottage much to the amusement of the kids and close enough to Hermanus if you need to do some shopping. Everything was perfect! If you're looking for peace and quiet and lots of rest in a picturesque environment, this is certainly the place to go!
Comfortable, spotless, fantastic furnishings, unparalleled views, lovely pool, nguni cattle, dogs, staff and the 3 chickens! We will recommend High Season and visit again when possible. Everything was wonderful, except for the TV that we couldn't get to work - probably no fault of High Season though, since we seldom watch TV ourselves and couldn't work the remotes.
We felt so special and the view from our Cottage was beautiful. It is an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet still close to the town.
Lovely place with incredible scenery.
Extremely neat place, well equipped. Beautiful location with exceptional views. The whole setup is testament to good management and an owner who takes pride in what he does. We had a great time and relaxed. The only thing that bothers me is the traffic on the R320, but it gets better later in the evening. There was also a rumbling of a machine of some kind near the chalet which stopped around 11 o'clock in the evening.
High Season Farm is beautifully surrounded by mountains and the dairy cows graze on the grass in the foreground. It takes amazingly beautiful pictures and our whole family really enjoyed it.
The cottages are beautiful and very neat. It is wonderful to wake up in the morning to the lowing of the cattle. Fresh drinking water and wood are provided which is very cute. The only downside is that there is no place in the room to put your bags down.
High seasons farm is the perfect place to get away and to relax and unwind on a perfectly located and equipped property in a beautiful part of the Cape.

It was cold outside but the fire inside the room was great and even the beds each had a heating blanket.
In the mountains with cattle grazing around you. The place is neat and the extras was a nice surprise. Also close to everything but not in the hustle and bustel of Hermanus.

This spacious and modern cottage has been created by renovating and converting old stables. The cottage has three bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with two singles and can accommodate up to six guests. Stay cool with ceiling fans in all bedrooms and lounge areas. For colder evenings, there is an indoor fireplace, and the entertainment options include DSTV and WiFi. Pine Tree cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and includes a dishwasher. An undercover veranda with a built-in braai is ideal for outdoor meals. Conveniently located near the farm dams and swimming pool, the cottage overlooks the Babylonstoren mountains and paddocks. Housekeeping is available for an additional fee.
