One of the nicest places our family has ever stayed - the golf course out of the books. The house and its facilities absolutely fantastic. The master bedroom a paradise. I don't want to criticize the "low" rating of the WiFi, our need in relation to working remotely over the period after working servers was a challenge in relation to the speed, but it was not critical. We could fall back on our cell phone connections. The place deserves all the plus points it deserves!

Beautiful estate as a whole, the place was neat & tidy, better than we expected. Wonderful view & the house was large, which was great for us as a group of 8 adults. Worth noting it's so peaceful & quiet.

Great, the house was very well equipped and thought of everything. The only thing I can comment on was that there were lots of ants and the outside veld was too long, which obstructed the view.

My friends and our families had a great time staying at Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate Erf 769. It is a lovely and spacious house. It is well equipped with everything one needs. The view over the golf course and mountains added to the relaxed environment.

Toilet seat in the master bathroom was broken and pinched every time you sat on it. Two pots and a couple of plates in the cupboards were dirty. The plumbing access panel on the side of the bath in the downstairs bedroom was hanging loose and not secured - not safe when you have a baby crawling on the floor. The pillow and pillowcases on the bed downstairs were smelly. The worst part of our entire stay and experience was the following: the owner/host of this establishment was incredibly rude and did not handle the situation professionally when we reported that a pair of JBL earpods went missing. We had reported that the JBL earpods were next to the bed when we went into town, and when we returned after the cleaning services had been in, they were missing. We tried to arrange a phone call to provide more details and discuss what happened, but she just refused to continue the conversation. The JBL earpods have still not turned up to date. The owner of the cleaning company also did not bother to get back to us despite saying she would investigate and provide feedback - incredibly unprofessional on both parts. The way this was handled left a bitter taste after what was a lovely weekend away with our two families. Other than the above, the location of this house is stunning, and the house itself is lovely. Based on the service and cleanliness situation, I will not recommend Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate Erf 769 to anyone. Stay somewhere else on the estate, there is no shortage of beautiful homes to stay in.

Our unit/house was super exquisite, but Telkom network in the area is a challenge if network boosters can be installed that would be perfect. But overall the stay was perfect.
