House rules
Guests are expected to treat the cottage and estate as if it were their own home and garden.Check-in is any time after 14:00 on the first day of the booking, and guests must vacate the cottage by 11:00 on the last day.
Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage.
The Wi-Fi password is on the router, located on the desk in the office. Guests are asked to limit usage to 10 GB per day. Any additional data will be charged to the guest’s account.
There is no TV in the cottage.
The outdoor beams can be armed at night by holding the green button on the remote. This covers areas except for the kitchen door and small back stoep. When leaving for the day, arm the inside with the blue button.
Nomsa, the domestic worker, will clean the cottage after breakfast, make beds, clean bathrooms, and tidy the lounge. She will also clear the kitchen after lunch. Nomsa is not a childminder, nanny, or cook. Jabulani manages the estate but is not available for guest services.
Dogs are not allowed on beds or couches. Guests should carefully introduce their dogs to Nomsa, who is afraid of dogs. Jabulani can assist with communication.
Please restrain dogs from chasing chickens, and note that there is no fence between the cottage and the beach.
Guests are welcome to use the sports equipment and games provided. The lawn area is ideal for family games like cricket and soccer. Guests should take care of the items used.
No additional guests are permitted beyond the number indicated at the time of booking. Exceeding the allowed number may result in cancellation and immediate removal from the premises.
A dedicated braai area is available for use.
