It is a perfect location, within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. The hosts were great. We enjoyed our stay at Hobie Beach House. The room was clean and very comfortable likewise with the bed. The breakfast was scrumptious. Lynn and Fred were wonderful. hosts and really want to make your stay enjoyable. Everything is within walking distance which is great! We recommend it!
Hobie Beach Guest House is a good value for money and I would recommend it. To our surprise on arrival, we were upgraded to a more spacious room at no extra cost, which we appreciate. Besides the space, the room was beautiful, clean and the bed was comfortable and the photos do not do justice to it. Hobie Beach Guest House is in a safe neighbourhood, and only a few feet to the beach, Boardwalk Mall and other amenities.
Peaceful and quiet stay.
We had a great stay, very close to the beach. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were neat and clean and friendly people.

The room was comfortable with everything you need. Lyn and Fred are fantastic. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. They are willing to help their guests with anything. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience. If I could give more than 5 out of 5, I would give 10 out of 5.
It was nice to also enjoy a swim, even though the wind was blowing very badly.
The guest house is nicely located. Close to the sea and restaurants and you can go for a lovely walk.
Hobie Beach Guest House is excellently located. The guest room met all expectations. Guest rooms are away from reception area, private and quiet. The host, Fred, is a gem. Location is fantastic, pleasant friendly and genuine service. We had a great stay, breakfast was good (but too much). Personal service and humanity, if you are looking for 5 star formal company this is not the place for you, if you want to meet people and have a good chat, look no further - book now. We don't go to the same place twice no matter how good it is but the place is great and affordable. If I have to go to PE again and I want to be close to everything I will definitely visit here again.

Hobie Beach Guest House was perfect for our needs: Spacious room and bathroom; comfortable bedding and mattress; friendly, competent staff; wonderful location; close to the beach, but in a quiet neighbourhood; delicious breakfast. The set-up of the room is good, because there is a back door with a security gate that can be opened to allow a cool draft of air through the room. I have arrived at guest houses so many times, hot and exhausted after the trip, only to be greeted by the stifling heat of a room which had been closed up for the whole day. Thank you.
We visited Hobie Beach in December and had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms are very neat and it felt like home. Had a delicious breakfast every morning and the host and staff were very friendly and pleasant and willing to go out their way to help. We used Hobie Beach as a base to visit Addo and Jeffrey's Bay and the casino / boardwalk as well as Pollock Beach nearby. It is conveniently located and we would highly recommend Hobie Beach to anyone who wants to visit PE and the surrounds.

Warm, friendly reception. The room was neat, clean and very comfy. We really enjoyed breakfast. The guesthouse is close to the airport and walking distance from the beach. Quiet, peaceful area.
Hobie Beach Guest House felt more like a second home through their friendliness and interaction with us and the other guests there. I would definitely recommend them to the people who want a "Home away from Home" atmosphere. Well done Hobie Beach Guest House and keep up your excellent service!
This was my 2nd time staying at the guest house. As before, the service was great and everyone was so friendly. The room was clean and tidy. I felt completely safe walking to the beach alone and even arriving at the guest house late at night. I will definitely stay there again next time.

Hobie Guest House is clean and neat. The rooms are spacious and conveniently equipped. It was nice and quiet in the evenings and the bed has a good mattress. The breakfast is delicious and is more than enough food.

Hobie Beach is one of those guesthouses that you keep coming back to again and again. The rooms were neat and cool. The breakfast from the top shelves. The staff were so friendly and immediately made us feel at home. Hobie Beach is very close to the beach and Boardwalk. I will definitely book with them again.
The owners and workers are hospitable and the accommodation is good. I will definitely make use of Hobie Beach Guest House again. My only commentary is that I think it's time for new towels, but this did not influence our stay. Breakfast was very good.

We arrived on a hot summer afternoon. While still wiping off sweat, I was offered a cold beer and my wife a cold glass of white wine brought to our room in an ice bucket. The owner personally accompanied us to our room and inspected it. We felt truly welcome, as if we were old acquaintances (and this was our first visit). The cool blue swimming pool cooled us down wonderfully. We had a good night's rest, the breakfast was tasty and served with a smile. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Initially the guesthouse did not have great communication regarding the booking and the payment details. The stay was good though, with friendly staff and a clean room.

I really enjoyed my stay. The beach is within walking distance and ideally located in Somerstand. The room was very neat and clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The outside lights might be good for security but it was a nuisance for us. The owner's clothing is inappropriate and probably the biggest reason for our negative stay experience.
Friendly service, will definitely use again. Very convenient and easy to find.
