The host made us so comfortable. The scenery was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
One of the best places we've ever stayed at. Ended up extending our stay as it was so hard to leave. Multiple walks from your doorstep through forests and rivers, as advertised. The paths and waterfalls seem private as well so didn't even see anyone else. 10/10.
This place is what Hogsback is all about. Great, easy walks in the forest. Beautiful waterfalls. Don't mind the road. Actually, there is no road in Hogsback, just a maze of potholes. Hobbit House is a lovely little cottage with lots of character. The hosts Kerry and Leigh provided just the right amount of communication via WhatsApp. We like that. The 3 cottages are very close to each other but I don't see this as a problem even if there are several guests. Well done. We will recommend this accommodation.
An incredible experience, the most beautiful environment and the friendly person with the most beautiful smile who helps where she can. Hogrock Falls will hit my favorite spot for sure. And I don't even mind the 11 hour drive to get there, so worth it.
The cabin is lovely but the wood stove does not work properly so the cabin is just freezing all the time and the bathroom is falling apart. Some wood is rotten and the taps are falling off.
Braai area on deck would be nice, trimming of trees in front of cabin for a better view.
It was a different environment from the urban style of leaving its a place to have a peaceful fresh start for the beginning of the year to relax enjoy nature. I enjoyed the waterfalls they are beautiful and its easy to access them.

To just be at the private, tranquil and especially client centered Hogrock Falls, can hardly be put in words. Our stay exceeded expectations. Leigh's added effort to make a special picnic possible was an extra special touch to this wonderful, magical place.

Stunning views from the stoep to sit and watch the Cape Parrots fly overhead. Great place for summer as well as winter and will definitely be back for more. You've got your own private waterfall and walking trail.
What a great weekend of battery charging! Can't recommend this little place enough, everything you need in a fairytale setting. Leigh is wonderfully hospitable and lovely to chat with, she's got an absolute gem here. We are already planning our next visit!

Unique and well located site with great ambience. Leigh was available at a moment's notice and our girls thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately Harry Potter never pitched though. I'm sure Leigh could have come up with Harry Styles!

Our weekend was like a fairy tale! Was really an adventure and experience straight from the books!
Accommodation was conveniently furnished and had everything that one might need. The view and the surroundings is breathtaking. The waterfall is just a stone throw away with easy hiking routes to follow.

Hogrock Falls is ideally located in scenic surroundings. If you want a chance to get away with few other people on the premises this is ideal. It's private, away from the town's activities and offers great walking routes. Is within easy reach of everything Hogsback has to offer.
I loved the hands-off approach of Hogrock Falls. The view is breathtaking and there is a private waterfall a 3 minute walk away! The highlight though is the craftsmanship and originality of the cabins. We felt like we stepped into the Shire. It was magical. Thank you Jared and Kate.

Thank you for the friendly reception. We really enjoyed our stay at Hogrock Falls. The little houses in the forest makes one feel as if one is part of the forest! The little water falls close by are beautiful. Would definitely go again!
You can really imagine something better if you want to stay in a fairy tale world. The location definitely deserves more than 5*! The house is so beautifully designed. And the setting couldn't be better - breathtaking.
