It was more than what I expected. Like we always say, value for money. I loved my room; it was spacious and my kids loved it too.
Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Service was great. Our TV didn't work, and the owner came out right away to fix it. It was 9 o'clock in the evening.

Unfortunately I had to take a cold shower as there was not enough hot water. Friends' shower sprayed the entire bathroom. Fortunately, the generator brought relief to the load shedding. Pitch is suitable for singles or couples, definitely not overnight for campers, no place for caravan/carriage to turn around. Thank you for good restaurant recommendation.

The owner is very friendly, waited for us to check in just before 23H00. The room was more than I expected for the amount. It was a family room with extra bedroom and single bed for a child. Secluded as well. I loved it. Linen fresh, bed and pillows very comfortable.
Only the neighbors and neighborhood dogs who all started barking early in the morning, but otherwise slept well.
We struggled with parking. In our bathroom there was a black spot on the ceiling. It didn't bother until it started raining in the evening. The water flowed down the wall, realizing the black spot was due to water tightness. Roof also leaked right above the bed. Power went out and we couldn't locate power box. So Aircon couldn't work, very hot.
We could not check in at 14:45. Bed linen not even made yet. No one at reception, only lady who ironed. Help a lot there is a gate at the front of the yard but along the side of the yard a whole block of concrete discs have been taken out to give builders free access to the premises. And so would-be crooks too. There was no gate that could close after the builders left and we were restless all night about our vehicle outside. It was raining and the roof was leaking in the room next to the one bed. We just put the toilet mat there just to muffle the sound a bit. With the wind blowing, the sails of the building rattled all night and sleep was scarce.
This is the second time we have stayed at @Home Guest House. The hostess is very friendly and we loved our unit where we stayed with our daughter. Everything was spotless and so neat. We had a great time hanging out by the pool after a long journey. Will definitely stay there again.
